Made from metal but you should khow that original part (came with the car) also made from metal.

this is a must have! forget the stock plastic sets. they don't last 1 ride. I've changed this so quickly that I never lost any dog-bone. get 2 sets per car plus 1 spare set.

Never got this beacuse they have been out of stock. Ordered the metal gearboxes instead. But these steel outdrive dont break.

These are the bomb - the original vehicle comes with soft plastic out drives that fall apart and spit the dogbones all over the place in a couple of runs - these hold tight thus eliminating the problem

The original outdrives of the SCT is one of the weakest points on the truck and people (inc. me) use heatshrink to force them not to open during a run or bump. With these ones - one of the weakest part of the truck is history :) Great replacement! I hope that HobbyKing will start to sell more metal upgrades for the truck - just like this one.
