Product Description

The H-King Swallow670 is a mini FPV flying wing that will get you around all those small areas. The plane is near indestructible and made of tough EPP foam. It has two carbon fiber rods in the wings to provide more stability and strength. The main body provides the plane with ample room for all the electronics to be fitted out of the way.

There is room up front for an FPV Camera (not supplied) and Video transmitter (not supplied) and if you want to use an Action Camera (not supplied) then there is a different cover to be used especially for this type of camera. There is a 3-axis flight stabilizer provided to keep the wing stable for better video quality. It can also be turned off for more dynamic flying.

I am only flying plane line of sight, the wing fitment wasn’t as neat as I would of liked, the foam is super strong and rigid. The airfoil is quite thick with a flat bottom. It is powered by a 2205 2300kv quad motor with 5045 bullnose quad prop and a zippy compact 1600 4s 35c, it pulls 21amps at wot, I thought it might be slow but wow it awesome, good speed and flight around 5mins of fast flight, it has unlimited vertical until it’s a speck in the sky. Slow speed flight is still very good and it doesn’t want to stall and it lets you know by waggleing it’s wings when you reduce speed near that point.

Fast, Overengineered, Heavy, Stable, Pretty

Its my first plane, so some things might not bother you if you are more experienced.
These little wing is strong, but overengineered with some poor designchoices. It flies well at higher speeds and in the hands of a capable pilot.
- elevon connection seems weak (can be fixed with tape)
+ control horns and rods included
+ enough screws
- screws don't hold in the foam
- motor mount seems stupid, you essentially have to glue the motor to the plane (you cannot unscrew the motor from the motor mount once it is in position)
- missing information for inexperienced people like me. For example, what is that wood piece and the velcro strap with the ring for?
- heavy, needs to fly very fast
+ if it flies fast it flies very stable -> not for inexperienced people like me (i got it to fly plenty though)
+ strong foam
- - EPP foam is terrible to glue, I even used shoe glue and it came off after a single crash
++ magnets are really good and allow for snapping the wings together
- the wood pieces (that were glued to the FOAM from the beginning) came off after a few crashes
- the fuselage panels need to be connected with tape, otherwise they just fall off.
+ enough inside airflow
+- detachable wings not really needed on such a small plane and with that design. It would help if one could glue the spar holder in the wing but with the current design it just falls out (i lost a few)
+ spars (probably glass fiber as they broke quite easily)
+ plenty of fuselage space
+ pretty

Ho installato un motore brushless 2205 2300kv ed uno stabilizzatore nx3.
Vola molto bene ed è veloce. Anche a motore spento plana abbastanza bene.
Lo consiglio come un'ala portatile!
