received this yesterday. looks great apart from the damage to the canopy and fuselage. and the missing left and right stabiliser. reported to HK hoping for a replacement. they offered $30 comp??????

Recently received my 80 inch T-28 Trojan. All I can say is wow what a model. Before becoming available with hk-uk I looked at buying from china but this was too expensive after mail and tax charges that would be applied.
This model is beautiful the images and video dont do it justice. I normally build 1/5th and 1/4 scale so not a great fan of the ARTfs but this model is a serious contender. The finish and detail simply gorgeous. HK dont currently supply the Retracts so purchased them from the following rchighperformancehobbies.com.au in Australia. They arrived in about a week again without issue. The retract links below are fine had good response from them only received email from above first! Enclosed a box picture t show quality of packing hence arrived perfectly.

This is Cpt. Galland, I used a different account to buy this airplane from Germany and send to Greece. I am very happy with this airplane.
It took me about 2 months (quite long for an ARF) to complete it because I was not used to Giant electrics and often I needed to order more parts and try different settings. I had many issues with the retracts but it was all solved out. In general I believe that pressure up, pressure down retracts are very risky and if I would do ti again I would look for big electric retracts. The T-28 flies fantastic! It is very realistic.I have many LEDS in the cockpit and all functional light system, strobe and landing light. There is a short U-TUBE demo of the real T-28 flying in an air-show and my model looked exactly the same. Touch and Go's are marvelous. Today I flew it in 4Bf. and it was solid as a rock and very majestik. The Roto Max 50CC is a perfect choice and with a Mejlik 3 blade prop you get 4000W and 110A.Enough power to loop with 80pcnt power! Flight time with 2X5S 5000 mah is about 7:30. The ESC is TGY 120A-HV OPTO (also very nice equipment). I tried to upload a photo but I am not sure it went trough. Good job H.K. hope to see more Giants because I think I am stuck in this size!(My VW Polo can not load any bigger than this!)

Very nicely built model, fuyuan is the manufacturer so there is an alternate source for the landing gear as HK is out of stock.
