Would be good value if it worked

Had trouble with two of these, first I brought, second was an RMA and both failed within 6 months - if you get a good one I think it would be good value for money but basically mind auto shut off, overheating maybe as the fan was cutting in and out but both have been the same, could be a production batch issue? (NB we are 240v supply which it is rated for but maybe does not like the high input voltage)
