The OrangeRx Tx6i has taken over from where the original OrangeRx T6 left off. Very noticeable from the start is the new ergonomic styling with hand grips and an internal protected antenna, no longer will you be having to purchase a new antenna because you have damaged it. The new shape and design makes it easier to hold and use the switches and the adjustable length stick allows you to tailor the feel of the set to your own requirements. The programming buttons on the left have been reduced to 2 from 4 which simplifies things but the roller /selector button has been retained as it is so simple and effective to use, this is now used for most of the programming. Other features of the Tx6i over the original T6 is that it has a larger easy to read backlit LCD display, model match (stops you trying to fly your model with the wrong model memory selected), telemetry, 20 model memory, switch assignment, multi-copter mode, servo sync, integrated timer, all this and it is still compatible with existing DSM2/DSMX receivers.
Retained from the earlier T6 are all your favourite features such as fixed wing mode with multiple wing types and mixers, helicopter mode with multiple swashplate types, pitch/throttle curves, gyro adjust etc as well as the new mult-copter mode. It still has range test function, dual/exponential rates, travel adjust, mixers and much much more, see list of features below.

I got back into the little Eflite UMX planes and binds with no ptoblem, I like the 3 pos switches , the short stubby antenna . Telemetry Great entry level for someone getting into the hobby. I like the feel of it in my hands .After receiving one and returning it due to some binding issues, I received my second one fairly quickly.
Features I most prize are the telemetry, which allows me to monitor my receiver battery, the assignable switches which let me pick any switch I want for any purpose, and the 20 model memories.
Also like the easy to use programming menus, the ergonomic feel of the case, and the clear orange plastic of the case itself, and it's light weight.
It binds with all of my Orange and Spektrum receivers no problem!
The stubby unbreakable antenna is a bonus too.Okay, I was intrigued by this new radio so I decided to get one. I have used OrangeRx receivers with my Spektrum transmitters before and had good success. This radio transmitter, on the flip side, is compatible with Spektrum receivers. So I wanted to have a back up to my DX7s.
It is very comfortable in my hands, the ergonomics of the hand hold areas are fantastic. All the switches are easy to reach for me.
The backlit screen is really bright and easy to see, and for a low price radio is a very nice upgraded feature.
I think this radio may be manufactured by FlySky, and I own FlySky radios and have great success with them so I am confident this radio will be a good one.
It has lots of adjustability, assignable switches, mixes, pretty much everything you could need, and for $77 USD (my price) is a pretty darned good radio.
