The Tarot X8 Airframe was designed to meet the specific needs of professional operators seeking a heavy-lift videography platform. The X8 has unique features that sets it apart from similar multi-rotor platforms such as folding arms that can locked into position in a matter of seconds allowing for easy transport and storage, heavy lift capability and ruggedized landing gear to name but a few. Without question the Tarot X8 was designed to be a workhorse.

The Tarot X8 is ideal for high end camera gimbals and professional videography equipment (3-Axis Gimbal and DSLR Camera) with an integrated PCB board for easy cabling. Foldable arms for easy transportation (no tools required) and retractable landing gear to give your camera and unimpeded 360 degree view of the world.

The battery placement on the X8 keeps the centre of gravity low which is conducive to stable flight, coupled with the ability to re-position the camera gimbal will allow you to fine tune your platform for ideal weight distribution. The frame utilises a proprietary power distribution system for your ESC’s and also includes 3 x XT60 connectors for auxiliary items. Uniquely shaped arms allow you to slide ESCs inside for a clean layout and the motor mounts are fitted with dampers to reduce engine vibration on the frame.

I have read that this frame is a bit sloppy and not great for pro use but I have not noticed and issues with frame movement. The only problem that I had was fitting the frame fixings to the arms. The fitting are over sizes for the arms. I found that the only solution was to file down the top and bottom of the fixing so they fitted in side the arms. Not sure why Tarot are unable to machine these correctly! It would cost no more to do it right.. One really great feature was the surface mount cabling and the central power distribution box.

Well, Frame is really OK, but i wouldn't say its actually Good, well at least for its price.
For price tag i would expect something more rigid and stable. Everything is a bit wobbly.
Biggest drawback was that actual aluminum hands DO NOT FIT arm mounts, and you have to literally hummer them in what causes damage to it. At the beginning i thought its just one or two arms what are a bit too small for mounts, but it was actually with every single one. So they where designed too small. Rest of it is fine. all carbon fiber items are in great condition and shape.
