Good Flight Control, But...

This is an excellent flight controller and very stable. I used it with a HK X650 and it is extremely stable. The only problem I get with it is that after about 1-2 min of flying it gives me the 'Magnetic Field Error'. This causes it to land automatically and is very annoying. I have increased the height of the GPS/Compass module and even put foil underneath it to try to shield it. Does anyone have any suggestions? They would be much appreciated.

Performance is really good but wont survive any hard crash. i have 2 of these (both from HK). both of them have the same problem after crashing. i get a glitch/spike while flying in mid air. my quad randomly loses control then gets back up again. and sometimes it doesn't. so it just falls to the ground. i thought it was just the prop/motor vibrations causing the glitch but nope. YES i did read the manual, re-calibrated everything but its still getting the random glitch. tested it on different quad sizes (550, 500, and 250) and it works great(before the glitch).
I hope they sell the flight controller separately, it's just not worth buying the set again.

Ordered in May 2016 from 'Global Warehouse'. Took 17 calendar days to arrive in my place in the U.S.
Installed on my F330 size quad. Replaced the KK2 Flight Controller (FC). Manual is written well enough in English and software was surprisingly easy to configure. I mounted the Tarot FC sideways and in the software there was an option for mounting in this manner - pretty cool. I just forgot to 'write' the changes to the Tarot and the quad would take off and then flip upside down, no damage. The blinking LED combinations are easy to grasp, different modes, errors etc. GPS mode holds fairly well, within documented spec.
Conclusion (after first week): very well overall, impressed, exceeded expectations after long review of other branded GPS FCs, I am happy and would buy again this Tarot ZYX-m FC.

Not at all happy. First couple flights were fine, updated the firmware and 3 min into a flight and gps took over, brought it up to 20 meters and very slowly flew my $2,000 into the top of a 22meter white pine.
ost me $200 to pay a tree service to get it down.

no problem so far .very good and solid product.
At first It was a bit tricky to start the motors and i learn i had to inverse the throttle stick.
gps works super fine .
i have a hexa for now and i will definitely buy one more for an Octocopter heavy lift :)

I was skeptic at first,but after trying on a 1.2m diy quad,this FC perform flawlessly.Setting up is very straight forward.Make sure you download teh Tarot assistant software and installed the correct usb driver folder for connecting the fc to the pc.Maiden with default gains.The gps mode feels lock in and amazingly stable.Braking is good.Attitude mode is good.A true Naza M killer:))

Very good performance and build quality except for the cables, they suck.. i had those servo cables laying around so it wasn't a problem. im buying this again on my next build.

Some weeks that I strogle with mine. Cannot get it work. It flashes red light. The compass calibration start well with the blue then the green but then becomes red continuous.

Flight controller is not running multirotor motors. What I did was not successful. Motors can not be armed. I tested motors. Motors intact. I regretted so much for purchasing this product.
