The ZYX-S2 high performance multi-function 3-axis gyro system is the latest edition from Tarot providing increased flight performance and lower power consumption. It is compatible with all 200~800 size nitro or electric power helicopters and supports 90, 120, 135 and 140 degree CCPM swashplate systems. Furthermore, it is compatible with all types of servos; supports both digital and analog 1520us, 960us and 760us servos. The setup process is quite easy, takes only about ten minutes. This unit also supports firmware updates.
The ZYX-S2 supports S.BUS and DSM2/DSMX/DSMJ satellite receiver functionality. This means not only can you use this with your S.BUS radio system, but you can also eliminate the need for using a separate receiver by simply connecting a DSM2/DSMX/DSMJ satellite directly to the ZYX-S2!
ZYX-S2 3-axis gyro system provides two different helicopter flight modes - F3C and 3D, which can satisfy pilots from beginners to advanced. It also supports 4 additional aircraft configurations as well: Quadcopter +, quadcopter X, standard fixed wing and delta fixed wing. This makes the ZYX-S2 a very versatile stabilization system suitable for virtually all types of aircraft.
ZYX-S2 3-axis gyro system has many adjustable options; pilots can adjust the parameter of swashplate and tail servo response, which allows the user to fine tune the handling characteristics of the helicopter. This high performance 3-axis gyro system uses MEMS gyro sensors which allow the pilot to control the flying status of helicopter precisely. The S2 features an improved pirouette optimization function; stabilizes the helicopter while pirouetting, making the advanced maneuvers much more precise.

It took some digging but I found the solution for the Windows 10 driver. I tried to upload it here but even though it is only 2.16 MB the site says the file is too big. This link has a link to the driver and instructions on how to install it.
If anyone has found an in-depth setup video, please share it with us.
Sistema instabile, pericolo di scatti improvvisi sul servo di coda o ciclico, muovendo velocemente su e giù il collettivo dopo alcuni secondi i servi impazziscono.
Durante il volo con HK 450 il Tarot ZYX-S2 è impazzito e mi ha ribaltato l' elicottero facendolo cadere a terra con conseguente rottura.
Mi dispiace ma non lo consiglio.

Was excited to receive this when it arrived in the mail.
Problem One, the Yellow flashing light..... this unit will only initialise when it wants to.
Unknowingly on upgrading to Windows 10, It appears that the USB drivers will no longer support the USB adaptor. It comes up with an Device cannot start Code 10 . Evidently prolific have stopped supporting the PL-2303HX chip used in these USB adapters for the ZYX and ZYX-S in their later drivers (Win 8 & 10) so a new USB adapter is needed using the later HXD chip. It appears that I must spend more money on a new BT adaptor or USB driver to possibly (not guaranteed) make it work.
I have wasted countless hours on trying to make this thing work but have given up in frustration, it is headed to the Garbage. I should have just spent the money on something better.
Impossible to program due to the fact that mine is missing the set button and also will not connect to PC. I am pretty computer savvy and programming should be no problem. Maybe I just got a defective product.
no instructions with unit had to look up on the web can't find fixed wing settings
Bought this for a HK500 FBL chopper, I used a conventional RX setup and digital 1520us servos. It's early but it seems to work quite well. One minor issue is when the swash is perfectly leveled I still have to trim out a little roll, not sure why, but it's a minor trim and flies great. The tail gyro function is right on the money.
Software is easy to use, instructions can be downloaded from the files tab on the item listing and are well written and easy to follow.
Excellent first FBL for your copter or upgrading your flybar copter to FBL.
