No problems on the motor while are present.
Installed in a very docile Phoenix Classic EP trainer. Ground test showed 545 Watts of power. The motor burnt out after 20 seconds of its first flight. It appears the receiver was switched off by shorted motor and lost connectivity, ailerons went hard left by themselves , plane did a lighning roll and and the plane crashed.

Im operating this motor in combination with a Plush 60A and an APC 13x6.5 prop at 4s. This combimation is powering my Extreme-Flight Extra 400 EXP 48" (1.220 mm 3D plane, 1.250g w/o battery)
Very good performance, no problems at all and even some "nose-overs" during hard landings (during competitions) didnt create any issues !
The Extra virtually "accelerates as if hit by a truck" - about 50 flights in different conditions (warm, cold, hot) already done .

However there is a lot of conflicting performance data listed in the various reviews of this motor. They cannot all be for the same motor.
The answer is that there are three different motors sometimes refered to as -A,-B,-C or as -03,-04,-05.

I think this explains the conflicting data in the motor performance reviews. Question is how do you ensure you will get the motor you want. HK does not differenciate. All are supposidly 900Kv but I got a 790. it suits my purpose better but if I want a larger 900 how do i ensure I get it.There is a lot of conflict in the data presented by users of this motor. It does not make sense some people claim 790 Kv others 900 and even 1100 KV Performance and current draws vary wildly.
Found the answer on a motor performance site. There are three motor variations beng sold as one.
SK3548-03 1100 Kv .025 Ohms 3.5A@10V 800W for 20 secs
SK3548-04 900 Kv .035 ohms 2.9A@10V 835W for 20 secs
SK3548-05 790 Kv .048 ohms 2.1A@10V 850W for 20 secs
I got a 790 KV instead of 900 advertized Little unhappy but as I will get 120 Watts /# in plane I will be satisfied.Klasse Motor verwende diesen in der Parkzone Me 109 G und hat zwischenzeitlich mehr als 10 Flugstunden problemlosen Einsatz hinter sich.Habe einen weiteren geordert dieser wird in einem

Do not have a 13X6E prop to test. I have not flown this motor yet and am very concerned about the magnet glue, bearings and other Lack of QC issues. I hope I am lucky as I have 2 of these motors.Top knnte nicht besser sein!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
