I use this motor with 3s 2200mah battery, 40A ESC, 9x7 GWS propeller and it draws only 40A without getting even warm nor hot. Pulls around 700gr i guess because my plane can climb vertically.

Heb twee van deze motoren gekocht, de eerste is al na 6 minuten doorgebrand. De motor is zeer powerful. Hoop dat de 2e heel blijft. Heb ik ook gerantie? in hoe bekom ik deze?

So here are some measurements:

max. eff. at +78. excellent!

Runs really silent and well balanced (have 3 of them) BUT:

oversized bearing isnt true! Look at the pic above, mini-bearing inside! Good to go for 35a permanent (if cooled in airstream) I would recommend 40a+ esc.

At 3S one have eff. above 70 between 7A and 40A with peak around 18amps.

Prop at 3S with 9x6 APC e-prop 41A / 496W / 1,8kg pull.

The stated data is correct so far. Good to use in fast warbirds - not for torque and hover.

Nada recomendable este motor...me llego defectuoso,no lo pude ni poner en marcha,en hobbyking me dicen que lo retorne,pagando yo los portes de ida e vuelta!!!! precio final x3 motores...muy decepcionado con el servicio "postventa"...

The 1400kv works great with a 10x7 or 10x5 APC-E prop on 3 cell lipo. The motor is in a Eflite RV-9 10 size which is a pretty big 10 size plane, it's wingspan is 50" and weight about 2.5 lbs. The 35-30, 1400 470 watt motor (able to do 500 or so watts) is more than enough power for the RV-9 450. Take offs are short, and recovery from a bad approach is effortless, even when the battery is low. On 3 cell lipo (2200mah 30C) the 10x7 is pushing the motor to it's rating in watts, a prop with less pitch is good too, but no problems with Turnigy motors. The SK is well made, and runs very smoothly. I'm impressed with the pricetag. I was impressed with H/K order fulfillment. Considering the price of a similar motor, I have to come to Turnigy, I'm on a low budget. Hate getting high prices at the hobby shops.

I use this engine with a prop 8X6 on a Graupner Elektro junior with a 3s-Lippo, current 34 Amp, 11,1V. It hade worked fine the last 3 month and the plain runs like an animal !!!
