TP 4130 in SebArt Katana S50e

Nov 14, 2007

I use this motor in a 150cm wingspan Katana S50 on the recommended Prop 16x8 powered by 3700mAh 5S Lipo. Max current is 37A, power is good to bring the plane vertical to sky. Motor, battery and ESC (also from TP) keep lukewarm. Overall performance and sound is great, I am very happy with this motor.

Cheers, Thomas

TP4130-7T

Nov 14, 2007

Great motor for scalers! AT 6 about 4 kg!

7500 rpm with 6 cells 3900 and about 48 Amps! Prop Graupner Super Sonic 16 X 8!

(Normally for glow engines)

With 5 cells 3900 and same prop 6400 rpm with 38 Amps.

Also good for 3d Katana S 50 with 6 cells!

Great engine for low budget!

TP 4130-7T on a converted Show

Nov 14, 2007

We used this motor to convert a Hangar 9 Showtime 90 airplane using a Xoar 18X8 wood prop, an 75 amps ESC (Align) and a FlightPower 4900 6S EVO (20C. The final weight is 4,1Kg (9,04pounds). Power is 1600watts and peak RPM is 7200RPM. Flight time is around 6 minutes with the motor and pack barely warm after.

TP4130 in H9 P-40

Nov 14, 2007

I'm running this one in my H9 P-40 .60 size conversion. Plane weights 9 lbs. Using 6s2p 4400 Mah HXT batts, with an APC 15x10e prop, Im getting 1150 watts @ 7380 rpm. This pulls 54 amps static.Performs fantastic in my plane! Motor and batts come down cool after 6 minute flights, with plenty still left in the batteries. Motor provides plenty of power, and has been problem free. Soon I'll try a 16x10e prop, and pull a bit more out of the motor. I'm totally satisfied, and would buy another one of these!
