Great motor! More power than you can imagine! 8x6 for best result. Hope they get more soon as I've been hangen out for about 3 weeks to place an order. You can't go wrong with this one!

Using this engine on EasyStar for FPV with 7x6 APC prop HK, 2200 HK 3 S 25C I find it perfect, because it is a very versatile engine for FPV gives me speed when I want to do looping,
me or the plane flight to enjoy the tranquil landscape. And a really good engine.

Sorry, but I have to give this engine a very negative opinion. 10x6 propeller with the first flight lasted 50 seconds or a little more take-off. He burned a roll model and I recovered in extremis. Do not recommend it highly.

I have made some tests with this motor, Zippy lipo 3S 2200 mah 30C,
Turnigy watt meter and Master Airscrew Electric propeler
With ESC H-King60A :
7x5.5 half throttle 5A 55W (probably due to soft start on ESC)
7x5.5 Full Throttle 32A 350W

With an ESC HobbyWing Pentium-40A:
7x5.5 half throttle 23A 260W
7x5.5 Full Throttle 38A 416W
I think the difference beetween the two esc is due to the soft start of the H-King ESC.

I made the same test with another motor: Turnigy 2836-2350KV
The rest are all the same:
With ESC H-King60A :
7x5.5 half throttle 7.5A 80W
7x5.5 Full Throttle 50A 470W

With an ESC HobbyWing Pentium-40A:
7x5.5 half throttle 32A 300W
7x5.5 Full Throttle 52A 520W

I have installed all on a F117 (Foam and plastic) 890 gr.
With Turnigy 2836-2350KV, i have 4 minutes max to fly and no more speed between 3/4 throttle and full Throttle, but more noise !

Il will try next week with motor TR 35-30A 1700kv to see how much time i can fly. i think i will fly about 6 minutes.
But i am sure i will fly more time !

This is a very hot motor but I would not call it an AXI 2208-20 equivalent. The AXI is smaller, lighter, and higher KV.

I am using the Turnegy HXT35-30-A in my GWS P-40 with an APC 8X6 E prop, a 2250 25C 3S battery, and a 36 amp ESC. It is extremely fast and will provide unlimited vertical. I have not noticed the bearing noise or heating problems mentioned by others but the 8X6 prop is definitely the limit for this motor on 3 cells. I actually bought two of these because the price was so low and I'm glad I did. The quality is quite good and the motor comes with everything you need. The gold bullet connectors are high quality and work great, nice touch.

If you are looking for true to life .10 performance this is it. Don't push it beyond 300 watts for more than 10 or 15 seconds without letting it cool for 20 or so and it will deliver the goods.

Bottom line, very good motor at an excellent price, don't pass this one up.

Awsome Motor , I installed it in my small piper cub ( 850 wingspan ) but didnt relize how much power this motor has , Running a 20 amp ESC and 11v 1300 mah battery flies very well at half throtle with power to do loops and pull out of trouble
