I have purchased 4 of these motors. 1 did not run, Kaput. 2nd smoked when conected, Kaput. 3rd ran for 4 flights in PZ T28 then stopped, Kaput.

4th ran for 2 months in PZ Radian then smoked, Kaput.

Both the PZ T28 and PZ Radian had standard props and ESC and 2200x3S LiPo.

From my experience, not a reliable motor.

Will be trying the Park 480 motors to see how they go.

He comprado este motor para mi FunCub Multiplex y con una hlice 10x5 va estupendo.Para colocar el motor por dentro del fuselaje hay que poner un adaptador con cono para ejes de 4mm.

Based on the positive reviews, I bought two of these. Neither of the bells rotate perfectly true. One of them is so off center that the included prop adapter wobbles visibly, i.e. one motor unusable.
Dear Hobby King, I don't think I am alone in wishing for a price / quality balance slightly more in the direction of quality. I know this is not the Chinese business model. But think about it hard enough and I'm sure you can get it right.

I have bought 3 of these as replacement motors for my PZ T28 Trojan using standard prop and 25 amp Turnigy ESC. 1st one D.O.A., 2nd one smoked on startup, 3rd one smoked after 6 flights. After take off I am only running 2/3rd throttle. I bought this because of all the good reviews, and no, I haven't run over a black cat. What is the alternative motor so that I can still get 8-10 min flights. I have had a Turnigy Park 450 and a Park 480 on order since 28 Dec. 2010 and still on backorder.

I have posted this before but must have got edited out.

Excellent motor for a good price. I have it in the model of the Sea Fury. Wingspan 1000mm, weight 750gr. Realistic flight exposure.

What a little gem. Motor is fitted to a 26.5 oz control line stunt plane converted to radio.Figures are recorded with Turnigy Aerodrive DC Watt Meter. 11.2 Volts 224 Watts 20.5 Amps WOT 9x6 HK APC style propeller. Battery used was HK Rhino 1350ma/Hr 25C 3 cell. Performance is exactly as predicted by Web o calc and Drive calc. Amazing, will go vertical forever.

Bought 3 of these as replacement motors for my PZ T-28 and PZ Radian.

1st one DOA, 2nd smoked as soon as started, 3rd OK so far. Not worth the postage to send back, I'll have to wear it.

Perhaps a bit better Quality Control H.K.

The plastic hubs on PZ motors split in any sort of bingle.
