I purchased this quite a while ago, before there were many reviews on it. I just installed it in my plane now, and when checking here to find out which prop to use, noticed the many review comments about bad bearings. Great.

Disappointing, because I used this to replace the geared inrunner from my Hobby Zone Typhoon that got smoked along with the ESC and battery when the gears cogged when I turned on the motor. That's why I switched to an outrunner.

At least I didn't run it and smoke the motor as happened to others, and have to replace two motors. As long as I'm replacing the bearings, I might as well go with some sealed ones from Boca.

I use this motor in my Parkzone T28 Trojan. To fit it I made a nice motormount out of 4 M3x30 bolts.
I have flown about 12 flights now with a Master Airscrew 10"x7" 3 blade. It pulls like crazy and delivers unlimited vertical yet without exessive speed. And cruises super at 1/3 gas or even less. For me this is the combination to use. And I never even upgraded the stock Esc.

Flight times with the 2200mAh Nanotech are anything between 7"30 and well over 10"00 pending on your style. I practiced very low passes at slow speed the otherday and got to 15 minutes befor I made an error. (Note to myself; got to practice aileron usage whilst flying towards me) Next HK order will contain lots of foam glue :-)

Tr35-36C 1100KV @3S/11.1V 1300mAh
Mounted on a 2,50 m/1100 g glider with 10x6 Cam Prop and 30A Turnigy 30A Esc.
After 1 year flight still good flight performances, low consumption on this set up.Has been used on same plane with 1500 mAh Cam_Prop 11x6 and 40A Tr Esc : nice fit for increased rate of climb.
Happy with it.

I have this motor installed in my House of Balsa P-51D 1/12 scale Mustang, along with a TURNIGY Sentry 40amp Speed Controller, and a

Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack. Turned out to be a great set-up. Plenty of power, and a great improvement over my original setup.

I have installed this in my House of Balsa P51D 1/12 scale Mustang. Works great. Much more power than my original setup. Finally flies like a Mustang. Using a TURNIGY Sentry 40amp Speed Controller and a Turnigy 2200mAh 3S 20C Lipo Pack. Turned out to be a great setup.

Great little motor. Can't beat it for the price. I've used it in place of a recommended Park 480 motor and it's done better than the 480 could have. I'm spinning a 12x6 prop and the temps are still very low. Running this motor on an Eflite Extra 260.

Have done a couple of flights with this motor in MPX Acromaster with D-MG16 servos all around, K-Force 40 and Rhino 2350/25c as well as Turnigy 2200/25c. At the begining I was using APC-E 12x6, but in second flight at very high speed the shaft have bent. As I had a spare shaft, I've changed it and fly with 11x5,5 APC-E. With 12x6 timing in K-Force was set with 11,25 degrees whilst with 11x5,5 timing is 18,75 deg. Now there is no problem with shaft. Model weight is 1050g and after 7 minutes of medium/hard 3D it consumes about 1800mAh. I really don't understand people who put in Acromaster or Gemini motors of 3542 size? I do have a 3542 1000kV sitting of a shelf but I won't use it in Acromaster. It's just too heavy. Of course you can do the setup with 60A ESC and 3548 motor with 3000-3600 battery but then it will fly like a brick :) => no 3D, Fast Forward Flight only. With this class and kV this is the best motor for these models.

Mine burnt out after about 30 flights and now I have been waiting 2 months for them to be back in stock so I can get my plane back in the air. Are they ever going to be off backorder??

I installed this motor on the Orange Extra 300 BNF by Horizon Hobby to replace the heavy canned stock motor equipped. I am using a Mystery 40amp ESC with a APC 12x7E. Current numbers are as follows,

APC 12x7E/Mystery 40ESC/Turnigy 2200 3S 30-40c/ = 465W

Temp on ESC/Motor/Batt are handwarm

This plane torque-rolls at 60pcnt. It rockets upwards at 75pcnt.

I recommend this combo for anyone who has the Orange Extra, you will love it. Gives it that "Extra" Wookie Wookie!!!
