This motor is awsome but I see people here give tests results with a 11x7 prop. Don't do it. My Pitts Special flew brilliantly with this prop and a 45-50amp speed controller. 5minutes after I landed (about 8min flight time) I remembered to check the temp. I nearly burned myself a blister on both the motor and speed controller. even the battery was still warm. DO NOT USE THIS COMBINATION. I was just lucky nothing burned out. Figures might look cool on a test bench but stay away from this combo.

Installed in a re-engine PZ Spitfire II. Harsh sounding, loud and over powered just like a Merlin Spitfire. 475w at 43amps 9X6 propeller on anything from a 3S1500 to a 3S2200 battery. The motor has transformed the Spitfire into a real mover. No complaints here.

Converted the old Parkzone Spitfire II to brushless utilising this engine and one might say that the Spitfire has regained its zest. Try a lazy 475 Watts steady at 42amps on a 9X6 propeller on a 40amp burst 50amp ESC. Harsh over powered, vertical performance at the flick of the throttle. Yes this is how the Spitfire should be. Uber performance for a bargain price. Would love to buy some more of these if they are ever in stock again.

Hi everyone ! I am from USA and I bought this motor for my Eflite mini funtanaX about a year ago , I fly it every weekend , 3 or 4 times flying when I came to the airfield

I flew it with high speed crazy 3D knife edge .... and I have never gotten any problem , the motor is still in GOOD condition ( I just flew it in this morning at 7:00 am )

With this price I would say : it is awesome ..... incredible

I used this motor with Turnigy 40 amp ESC ( I changed to 60 amp 1/2 year ago ) Zippy or Turnigy 2200 mAh 11x5.5 prop and 4 HXT900 9g servos for my mini FuntanaX so far I didn't change anything yet

- I don't like it ... but I LOVE IT

Positive: Super Power
Negative: Massive vibrations at certain revolutions (rpm). Even with no load the rotor swings as much as 2 mm, with propeller mounted, the shaft bends. The 4mm shaft is too soft and thin for the amount of power. I tried different shafts and balanced the rotor but the vibrations stay.

I use it in Easy Glider pro (multiplex): probably it is too much powerful for this plane becouse it's rare to use all stick run. With Turnigy Sentry 60 A e Nanocell 3.2Ah I have this measure:

prop Watts Amp RPM

10/6 336 31.2 10.800

11/6 453 44 9450

12/6.5 538 52.8 8640

Yes, this motor is almost perfect for my little Mini-Hawk from Dymond/Staufenbiel. This plane is a mini-hotliner of about 1300mm wingspan, weight lower than 900 gr with my setup. I use the same motor in my blizzard with is bigger and has more weight, this will propell this little thing to greatest height in seconds ...
