Take care about ESC Amp, no less than 70A. With 11.1 Lipo I have a lot of flights w/o problem in my Cularis. Folding Prop (Astronaut) 11x8
Nice and inexpensive motor

I've been flying with this motor for a couple of years now and love it. I put it on a 2 lb parkzone trojan and it was great. I recently went thru my 2nd e-flite power 25 and thot I might try the turnigy on my 4 lb Yak and it was better than I ever thought. The plus is more power, 40 more watts with the same set up, and I can use either a 3s-5s battery where I can only use 3s-4s with the power 25. Makes a foam trojan go almost 90 mph. all I have to say is good,, and the e-flite is $75.00 when the turnigy is $22.00.. so that would be less then, wouldn't it

For the performance it's a good motor.

I used it on my funcub, but the shaft of the motor is weak, mine shaft broke in the first flight, and than in the second flight my reserve shaft broke also, so I don't recomend it

Hola:

Motor arrived with the accesorries shown on the picture and they are useful especially when you need a specific spinner to use on its 4mm shaft. Will report back after testing them in flight.

I have bought two off these motors, use them with 3s 3700mah and have no problems. Motor not gets even warm. Both on sailplanes 2m and 2,2 m. With half trotle you get the plane skyhigh in seconds. I use foldingprops from Aeronaut 10xw8" CARBON. This is very important. NEVER use plastic or even nylon foldingprops. If you have to drill holes in them you will get vibrations which will destroy your motor and airplane. Even with nylon folding props you will get problems at the end because the holes expand and cause in time vibrations. So use carbon blades. In both planes I use the 80 AMP tURNIGY PLUSH.

Now I buy my third 42-48A and will try out with the 60AMP Turnigy Plush.

I just got my motors that I ordered 2)35-48 1100kv and 1)35-42 1100kv

and 1)other but as I was putting the prop adapter on it I noticed that it was dragging it turns out that the windings were wound too loose and 5 o6 of the windings came off of one stator and they got dragged over to the next stator by the magnets well hk says return it but the s/h would cost almost as much as I paid for it so I took it apart and pushed the windings back into place and ca'd them but I don't trust it not to short out due to the enamel being scratched off by the magnets and costing me a speed controller and possibly a plane so its going to be a spare parts motor I would tighten up quality control on these as they could be great motors.I hear that some people have had issues with bearings and magnets coming unglued as well as the threads on the prop adapter stripping. my suggestion is to cut the stud off and drill and tap the adapter and screw a 1/4 x 28 fine thread button head allen bolt thru it from the motor side out towards the prop and put a nut on it it would be much stronger than the cheap aluminum stud you have now.but in turnigy's defense there are quite a few of these in the Palos,Illinois RC club and I'm not hearing too many complaints about them and they do look dynamite and the price is great but the workmanship could be better.
