Don't be fooled by it's size and price, this is a serious performer, the Mini-Q Sport 1:28 AWD Touring Car is an excellent package for getting started in RC 1:28 scale touring cars as well as for existing enthusiasts. The car comes complete with a high-performance chassis and 2.4GHz radio transmitter. Just add AAA batteries and get racing.
For its size the performance is outstanding coming from a 130 brushed motor powering a shaft drive AWD transmission. The 3-in-1 PCB provides fast and smooth response for both the 5g servo and motor to provide precision control. The rubber tires provide the grip you need when racing around tight corners or punching the throttle from a standing start. The PVC printed body shell gives a realistic Audi R8 look. If you want a different body shape many of the Mini-Z body shells can be fitted to this chassis although some modifications may be required.
One of the neat things about this car is the radio that comes with it has a speed control function similar to a throttle EPA so you can set the maximum speed to suit the environment in which you are driving.
This is a perfect starting point for anyone who is interested in getting involved in the super competitive 1:28 scale on-road class or just for cutting some laps around the living room. As your skills develop you can put hotter motors in using our Basher 130 sized motors or even upgrade to brushless, switch to a standard radio, change out the micro servo, change to LiPo power and upgrade many of the parts to aluminium options.
No matter what you decide to do with your Mini-Q, one thing is guaranteed, you will have fun!
Note: Spare and upgrade parts will be available soon.
