This is the second one of these pit lights I have purchased. It is such a good light, easy to pack, lasts long on a charge, and makes your work area very easy to see.

It would have nice if it worked out of the box. It didn't because the battery lead was so short that just a few mm movement was enough to disconnect it. So here I am plugging in a 1S battery in the charge socket to get it to work. I tired of using an external battery and tried repairing it which did work but eventually it got unplugged while being carried to the track. Tried to repair again but in frustration tossed it instead.

Lipo inside it is complete garbage.
After using it about 8 hours (yes, it may last whole day even if not charge it during day) it went off. Good, "deep discharge protection" worked, was my thought. Started to charge, now way, "battery to low". Digged thing internals out and found that battery has no readings at all, measured directly from lead, thats why "battery to low". Something inside lipo has gone, cheapo, you know.
Btw, it's easy to open thing, metalworking quality is good, now hunting replacement lipo to see how it performs with good battery :)

Light works great. Had to adjust screws that were loose. The top had popped off one of the tiny black screws holding on an endcap. I just replaced with one I had. Otherwise a great light. Will work great at the track. Cannot beat the price. As good a quality as Muchmore, just not the high price. Awesome!

Thought I would write a small review. I had the exact same thing as Speedy G happen to me; i.e. the battery came unplugged and I had to take the lamp apart to plug it. In the process I moved the battery as far as I could towards the circuit board, to help with the balance of the lamp. No biggie but it's annoying to void the warranty of a product right out of the box.

The light is very bright and if you use a glass pitboard (as I do), the reflection could actually become quite a nuisance. A dimmer would have been useful. It would also have helped with the duration of use over one charge. Contrary to others here I have been a bit disappointed int that area, with the lamp being empty after approx. 6 hours of use. That means you can't go through the race day on a single charge, unless you turn it off as soon as you leave your table, which would be quite a hassle IMHO.

Overall product works as described, but I'm not overly impressed.

Great light. Comes with charging leads. Worked right out of the box. Much cheaper than other name brand and works just as well for providing light. I can take this camping too.

Very nice light. Bright and easy to adjust. The only issue is that it only lasts about 1 hour. Other than that, it is a beautiful light.
