    Product Description

    TrackStar Corner Weight System is designed for serious racers to measure their cars’ corner weight distribution easily, and make necessary weight adjustment to balance their cars for the best performance.

    TrackStar Corner weight scales allow precise car weight distribution which is critical to on track success. The four corners of the car may be bearing different amounts of the car weight. The unequal corner weights can be felt as the car rolling more when turning in one direction than the other. The car’s stability is compromised which will adversely affect its balance. A well balanced car is generally easier to drive quicker due to the car increased stability.

    To make sure weight percentages are correct, computerised scale systems must be used. Correct chassis setup separates the front runners from the followers. Corner Weight Scales provide the necessary data for anyone to become a chassis expert.

    Ideally the car should have 50% of its weight on the Left Front and Right Rear tires, and 50% on the Right Front and Left Rear. If your car's diagonal corner weights are not equal then its handling will be unbalanced - it will turn better in one direction than in the other (all other things being equal).

    TrackStar Corner Weight System consist of one main unit and four separate scales, the maximum weight limit for each scale is 2000 grams.

    The hardware seems nice, however, there is an error in the programming. The crossweight percentage is calculated backwards. It should be Left Rear and Right Front weight, but it is using the Right Rear and Left Front. The directions are also printed correctly, but the math inside the unit is bad. Otherwise, it seems to be a decent unit.

    So far this has got to be the least expensive corner scale system I have seen. Being my first set like this, I am happy with it's compactness and functionality.Time will tell how it holds up in the field. It has proven very valuable so far as I have been able to get my race cars dialed in that last bit to make them that much more competitive.

    These scales are great for weighting and balance your Rc vehicles. I have a 1/10 touring car and a 1/8 Buggy. ideal for both. Once you balance your car it makes a huge difference in handling cornering.
