SCT goes straight as a well shot arrow.

This little gyro has been in my ECX Torment for over 3 Years now and that truck still flies a straight line no matter what you throw at it. That was a literal statement, we like to try to knock it off stride, but no can do. Gyro says, no input from steering wheel, no direction change, dead and very effective. This is a rock solid gyro, even if you're not drifting. Thanks HK. Kris

It appears that this unit requires a digital servo as my analogue servo started to heat up rather quickly. After fitting a decent digital servo I found the unit challenging to tune as it depended a lot on the surface you are driving on. My plan was that this will help my 5 year old son handle corners bit better, and it did. But when driving on bark and sand it works against you... For the purpose that this unit is design and the price its a killer product. Shame they don't state she is digital only but then again who the heck has an analogue servo in a drift car anyway.

first use looks great. have to test it more. don't forget to try to put it in front of you RC in the middle and standing up.

So, here's my scenario: Bought a cheap HSP 1:10 Drift car, Spent a couple hundred $$$ on 3.5T motor/ESC/digital MG servo almost all the aluminium hop-ups for front end to try and make it go in a straight line (I am sure the rear axles are bent as well as the wheels wobble... The only thing that really worked was a gyro. This car was just for fun and going fast, not competition but I was about to give up on it due to it's inability to go in a straight line. This gyro fixed that. If you can imagine the car was impossible to control @ 36km/h before installing the gyro then you can understand how frustrated I was with the new upgrades. Lesson: Buy a better chassis from the start... if not, buy this gyro.

This is Great .... Especialy when combined with good powerfull servos ... Among others .... it keeps the car in a straight line when off roading on bumby road .
