Nice and robust, although can be tricky to connect to esc program card. Once I managed to connect it (through PC Link) I was able to set up all options.

This is a good little esc. A lot of people have problems with the programmers and I did at first but the program box an USB link does work, just got to play with it to get it to work. The program box needs to be connected to the internet and I think it automatically updates and the USB link is above and beyond. I have mine paired with a 7 turn trackstar (red can) motor and its really good. It's the smoothest combo I've got and tunability with the USB link is easy and comprehensive. Your missing out if u can't get it working. I think the tech is a little bit ahead, it is a little more complicated than your regular run of the mill ESC but if you get it figured out you're going to like it. I wish trackstar would make 180 amp 8th scale version of it

software for programmer has to be in C drive

after reading one persons review I have realised why I couldnt connect with esc. the download when you unpack it has to be on C drive and you use the icon to open the programme not the usb . exe file, works OK now and profiles are now, working!

ESC is fine, but the USB LINK software is unusable.

The software TS USB LINK V2.06 is not working. If I start the application the background images are not loaded so you get a gay screen with no information. It seems the buttons are working but you cannot see what you are clicking. I did test the software on 5 different computers with OS version Windows 10, 7 and XP all had the same results.
The USB link of the older version of the software TS USB LINK V1.10 is broken so i could not test it.
I can change basic settings with the Program Box after a firmware update, but this program had the same issue als the USB LINK. You need to guess ware to klik for a succesvol update.
The ESC works fine, but the software is unusable.
Hopefully HobbyKing /TrackStar is fixing the problem soon. If all problems are fixed I highly recommend the ESC

Having installed it into my buggy connected the new program card, voila could not connect to ESC. Jesus after all this time there are still issues, anyhow, download software, connected it up and run the software. Couldn't connect to ESC...Nuts...Dont seem to like Windows 10. In the USBlink folder is a .exe called Skyusblink_V2.exe right click the file and select properties then click compatibility mode, from the dropdown select windows 7 then ok. Right click Skyusblink_V2.exe and run as administrator. The program should now run but sill doesn't show any info in the about section of the software. unplug and reconnect the usb lead and mine all started working. Seeing as Windows 7 was retired some time ago it's rediculous that any new device hasn't had its associated software updated.

Good esc programming box works fine to tune esc, great value for money, firmware doesn't work and hobbyking support are hopeless they don't get back to you.
