Very good engine. I am using it at my kyosho inferno gt car. I have made a race with it and many hours of practicing. In the track is much better than more expensive engines. The only thing to do is to break in it carefully. It needs about 12 tanks to break in it normally.Very good engine. Easy break in and good low end power. Tends to run a little hotter than other engines but no problem so far.wow great engine in losi 3.0 keep up with the big boys and a lot easy to tune then other engine i tryed it all down to breaking in where they should make book with it or leafletAwesome engine. Bought it to replace the engine I killed on my nitro rumble. I did two tanks running-in and then I let it rip! It is much faster than stock! And cost the same as a piston-liner set for the old engine. Carburation is easy and I never had one flameout. Will buy more for my other cars.Hi,
About the crankshaft; you might get friction traces with the rear cover: bad thing...
To avoid this, be sure the crankshaft and the gear set are fully pulled away from the rear cover, when you put a new one or mount it .finally got to test these and they are unbeliveable, great bottom end punch, good top speed and very easy to tune. she does drink a little but thats coz i like to run a rich bottom end tune of more torque. but for the cost no one belives me at the track that this motor costed $80Hi,
Just noticed something about the rear cover:
as you open it, friction traces show up inside
with the moving shaft... It may be harmful .
So I suggest adding a 2nd rubber ring in it, to make a slight distance to avoid friction.ottimo prodotto di buona fattura e con discrete prestazioni, motore ideale come motore per muletto o per gare amatoriali certo non pu competere in termini di prestazioni con le marche pi blasonate ma se ben settato vi dare delle enormi soddisfazioni, trattasi di un 3 luci con candela standard ottimo rapporto qualit prezzo, assolutamente consigliato.ottimo motore ve lo consiglio vivamente! e' regolare facile da carburare va' forte! non si spegne mai e non soffredi di problemi collegati al vapor look.. consigliatissimo!performance/ price ratio is very satisfied. It is perfcet for training and bashing. But it can heat up 120C easily, needs some temperature gadget for to preventing from overheat damages.
