Don't let it's small size fool you. This is a serious 1/16th Nitro Racer!

We've taken this great little nitro buggy and made it even better with an upgraded .07 engine! The Turnigy 1/16 4wd Nitro Racing Buggy now offers more power and a higher top speed, just what you need to satisfy your power hungry appetite!

Starting with a Japanese made pull start .07 ci nitro engine, tuned pipe, shaft driven four wheel drive - with steel prop shafts and disk brake, this little buggy ticks all the boxes. It has a great range of adjustability out of the box, such as: adjustable upper control arms, shock absorber fulcrum, shock absorber pre-load, rear suspension roll center and adjustable down stops.

A quick look over the images will demonstrate the inbuilt durability and over-engineered components such as the suspension arms, shock mounts and bulkheads. It's built more like a 1/10 scale racer than a 1/16th!

This car arrives receiver ready, completely built with the high torque steering and throttle servos installed and all linkages pre-adjusted. Just add your receiver, 4 AAA batteries, Fuel, a glow plug driver and your ready to rock!

Except for the pull-start mechanism, the vehicle is built for quality and endurance. Be sure to order some spare clutch and clutch covers, as well as spare pull-starter mechanism for replacements in time of need. When adjusting the carburettor needles, be sure that the tires of the car can run free.

The are generally is good. The One way bearing is in deed rubbish. I replaced it with a Japanese H408 and it is a perfect. you may need to seal the fuel tank cap and nipple on the cap and seal the engine backplate and exhaust all the way to the tuned pipe as it leaks everywhere. I founf the header o ring was pinched when I did the reseal. Replaced the O ring. If you do an upgrade on the suspension C-Hub and knuckles, be sure to lock tight them as I have lost the screws and all metal it does not bite and will work loose by itself. If you over tighten them, then there is no freeplay. Also do change out the wheel hubs to metal, it is so much smoother. I got a 2 speed gear box and it is really fast. Besure to keep some spur gears as spares as it wears out pretty quick. I have lube all differential gears with only Vaseline petroleum based grease and it works wonders. If you car leaks do seal them. The high speed needle (HSN) is around 2,5 turns from closed.

I like the car and it is fast with the 2 speed gearbox. the clutch sprint is rubbish and the starter recoil slips. The fuel tank cap leaks under pressure. There is no chance you can adjust the 2 speed shift as once you do it, you will screw it up. leave it stock. Running with 15pcnt nitro and no.8 glow. Idles well and accelerate well. Handling on road is good.

Very satisfied.
For reliable actuation, OWB was replaced in made INA.
Was to facilitate the start-up by changing the Roto Start.

Unpacked from box and everything but the clutch to spur gear mesh was perfect. Screws were all nice and tight, linkage was well adjusted. Using the Hobbyking GT2 tx/rx combo. RX box on buggy is small so the small RX that comes with the combo fits perfectly. great buggy for a great price!

Awesome little buggy!! The model is easy to start and the engine is really permisive. It will run as rich as you may want, making the engine breaking procedure really easy. I would recommand to anywone buying this model (or any prebuilt model) to clean and lubricate both differentials and chang the shock oil (27.5w work perfect). The only breakage that occured in the first 5 tanks, was the throtle servo horn (my fault... I had a spare in the kit anyway) and a clutch spring. I've replaced the clutch spring with a 0.88mm coming from a 1/8 buggy.

Spare parts to have : servo horn, clutch springs, and glow plugs.

The rest should be good unless you smash the thing at every objects in his way.

I love this buggy!
What a fun little car! I have been out of nitro for 5 or so years so this is a great way for me to get back into the hobby! It screams up and down my street. While I have broken a few parts, it was always my fault (like running into a car tire)
Pros:
Shares parts with kyosho mini inferno
cheap
fast
jumps well
good handling
Strong enough for a good driver.
(if you crash hard into stuff it will break)
Cons:
parts in US take time to ship
brakes could be stronger (adjusting stock linkage helps but it needs a better servo, going to swap in a HS55 soon)

using to much after run oil makes the pull start OWB slip, but its easy to fix, just pull the glow plug out and FLOOD the block with nitro fuel for a minute or so... Then drain the fuel out and your off!
Overall cant beat it for the price!
