She's good, a bit bodged, especially considering she caught fire almost immediately but it makes an excellent paperweight. After it has burnt out, I did a watt meter test;
Pitch speed: 0kmh
I highly recommend buying some of these and using them as dead weight to balance your planes. When I no longer have any papers to weigh down with this motor, I will flog it on ebay.
Powered up and works but no other testing yet. Bought this because they are rarely in stock. Don't know what I'm gonna use it in yet. Very tiny motor! I may put it in a small edf or make a tiny profile foam jet. Any ideas? What does everyone else use it for?I bought mine for the micro t, if you want to get it for the micro t you would have to make a custom chassisi am testing this motor on 3s in the gws 30mmedf and 6blade cut to 3 rotor and the amazing thing it is holding up i havent took amp draw or trust measurements but 10 to 15 sec burst it isnt getting very hot but the motor is turning in its case so i will need to glue it in sense i have no screws for it ill do more testing in the morning probly to the piont i destroy itVery tiny and light, not too much torque though. Still not sure for what application to use it. Works well with the 3A ESC.Mine has just arrived but it is ball raced, I have read some reviews that say it is plain bushed. Have HK changed it ?
I intend to use it with 30mm GWS EDF, I can only get a 6 blade impeller, do you cut 3 blades off ?
Robwanted to use it with 2S / 300 mah/ 30 mm
6 bladed ducted fan.
low trust, high temperature.
will use it for direct drive,
not for edf anymore.Bought one of these to put in a 1S gearbox. Less than 1.6A current will spin a GWS 5030 prop at over 7500 RPM and produce over 50 grams of thrust, using a 4.2:1 gearbox. This just might be my new favorite 1S brushless motor.good motor for micro t,not the same umbelivable power that the losi,but cheaper option,for a brushless convertion,use it with 2s lipo,gets a bit hot,but still works finevery impressive super small motor. this really has some power hidden within. i tested it in the 30mm edf from gws and with 2s lifepo
