Combined with a 10x6 E-prop this motor can push out over 1000g in thrust on a 3S1P configuration lipo.
Good for bigger foamies or parkflyers where about 150W is required.

WOW what a nice motor package! It came in a clear hard plastic case with both male and female bullet connectors, heat shrink, prop saver with 3 bands, extra shaft and E clip,X mount and 8 mounting screws and prop hub adaptor! WOW! AND it is a smooth running motor, fits great in my Sunbird balsa glider!L-am prabusit de 4 ori de la aproximativ 100 de metri si nu a avut nimic .
Inainte de a-l folosi pe avioane a stat pe o barcuta de viteza:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TE7bQXua9WIBest Motor i have ever seen... love the thrust :D225 watts and 21 amps on 10 45 sf and fresh 3s 1500 mah batt. Good motor for 900 to 1000mm 3d foamies, plenty power and only 50 odd grams.
Only minus is the shaft would need to be reversed and tweeked a bit to use the prop saver supplied. The prop adaptor supplied is a nice solid unit and fits straight out the box no problems though.Goede motor met voldoende power.
I made some test:
Zippy compact 1800 25C 11,4v and Aeronaut Cam 10*4 folding
10,7A and 113W
Zippy compact 1800 25C 11,4v and Aeronaut Cam 10*6 folding
14,1 and 143,6W
Turnigy 2200mAh 25-35C 12,3V and Aeronaut Cam 10*6 folding
16,2A and 190W.
How is it possible that this motor has so little energy consumption?
Nice and silent!I'd leave a zero if I could. These motors are totally inferior to the earlier versions. Bought four for a quad, all rattle, one has severe vibration, and all come with cheap enameled leads WHICH ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO SHORTEN AND TIN. Avoid this motor.I am using this motor on my second MPX Panda Sport 550 gr weight with 20 amps ESC and 9x5 prop. Climbing vertical to reach gliding altitude. I would definitely recommend it for airplanes under 700 gr. I crashed my first Panda with this motor at more than 100 km/h on a vertical dive, nose was 15 cm burried in the ground (so motor as well)... Not a single damage at all, I re-used it on my second panda sport kit.
Compare to other cheap motors I got from HK, I believe that this is the most reliable. The big brother of this motor (
Turnigy 2217 16turn 1050kv 23A Outrunne) is very good too as tracting 1kg with Phoenix 1600 with reasonnable speed and climb angle, without getting warm anytime... All in all, this motor is very suitable for motor gliders.
Great motor, put it in my Hummer 3D EPP with a 10x45 SF prop on a 30A Plush. Great combo, pulls the plane vertical no problem with a 1300mah 3S. 6 minutes of hard flying and the motor is just warm. There are no reviews on these in the Aust store so i thought i would be the first one to break the ice. Firstly, i would like to say that i originally purchased one of these on a whim because i wanted to used prop saver mount that came with on a different motor that i already had. However, after testing out this motor i realized how awesome it was! Needless to say, i have purchased a few more of these since then. Like i just said, these motors are little beasts! I also love the fact that they come with so many extra parts for repairs and easy set up. Overall, i highly recommend these motors for any decent sized homemade foamie!
