Bought 2 of these for my trex 500 fbl to try them out. 2 different batteries came, different dimensions, different weight and different shades of blue wrapping. And for that reason bigger one doesn't fit under the canopy. Also one battery had very long main wire and the other one very short. I'm guessing one is 20c and other one is 30c even though 30c says on both of them. As for the performance don't know yet, only had one flight, but they come down very worm. Overall, disappointed. Will not buy them again.

I bought this to replace a Nano Tech 2650 which failed after only 43 careful cycles on my HK500. I also bought a Zippy 2700 so that I can do side by side long term comparisons.

First of all, this pack weighs 510g, not 430g! The dimensions are also 140x45x40 rather than 140x45x35. To make this fit my HK500TT FBL with the regular 500 canopy, I lowered the battery tray by an additional 11mm.

I'm hoping to get more than 43 cycles form this - initial use suggests lower voltage drop under load than either the Zippy 2700 35c or the Nano Tech 2650 35-70c which is encouraging.

As shipped, it came with all cells within 0.02v, around 3.80v per cell. I'll update this review as I continue to use the pack.

For some reason, my review defaulted to 4 crowns - only time will tell if it's worth 4 crowns.

This is teh second post i write.... teh first one never saw the light.... are we sure it got published????

This is teh last time I buy Batteries from HK... these were badly balanced ( 2 cells were at 3.7 against the 4 remaining that were correctly at 3.85). Obviously theyr policy do not allow for battery replacement (READ IT CAREFULLY.............YOU WILL HAVE SOME FUN GOING THROUGH THE VARIOUS ARTICLES POARTIALLY CONTRADDICTING EACH OTHER).

To make the story short, Asked for replacement (denied as theyr supplier would not replace the battery to them ... ahahah what a joke) I've been told by tech support to balance the battery, it took forerever, completed, but then to check if the battery would charge i had to charge them.... Warranty Void following the crazy rules they've set...
Already got broken batteries from them.... I will delete my account and forget anout HK

I'm a platinum member, spent thousands of euro with Hobbyking.

These as other types of Battery from Hobbyking just SUCKS.... sucks... sucks... quality control SImply does not exists.... obviously.. who cares when a faulty battery does not bring additional costs to them (shipment and cash refund for example)??

Ordered 2, one is out of balance (2 cells are at 3.7 against the remaining 4 that are 3.83). This is not the first time it happens but this time I've open a claim with their tech support... Yes I will have to pay for shipment...but at least I will still be able to use the battery.... when it happened before I kept the battery (too late to complain when I checked the cell voltage) I DO SWEAR... THIS IS THE LAST TIME I BUY ANYTHING FROM HOBBYKING....

Perfect battery for my 500EFL PRO! Almost as good as my Optipower but for this price, it's probably better than my Opti!

Even better now that it's in the UK as well! I can order to my heart's content without feeling guilty about postage charges!

I have more of these for my helicopters, some are over 100 flights old, some are 50 flight old. You can notice that the older ones have grown weak, but all in all they can still be used without problems. Great value for money, but a bit weak for the heavy flyer.

Habe inzwischen 4 Lipos dieser Sorte und muss sagen, dass die Dinger bislang ECHT Spa machen. Zwei der vier Lipos haben bereits mehr als 50 Zyklen drauf und sind noch top in Schu. Absolut kein Leistungsverlust und kein Zellendrift. Bis jetzt auch nur minimalst geblht, aber wirklich nicht der Rede wert. TOP Produkt, das sich sicher wieder kaufen werde (fliege sie brigens im T-Rex 500).
