Long lasting

May 29, 2019

I bought this for a scale application, finding the power and rpm perfect for the prop I needed to use for scale effect. It has proved to be long lasting and dependable. Nothing has loosened and it runs cool, as long as you stay within the guidelines for use.

T2830-1000 Motor

May 03, 2019

I believe the motor works fine, but what bothers me is purchasing an outrunner motor, and it shows up with the shaft sticking out of the stationary frame with the leads. In order to install this motor to any aircraft I know of, one must reverse the shaft to be used with the the prop holder on the rotating armature. It was not particularly easy to reverse the shaft on this motor. Nobody has been able to answer the question of WHY these motors come with the shaft backwards....

Wierd Mount

Sep 13, 2018

Motor mount attaches at front and is not reversible (according to help chat) just not suitable to mount to the front of a plane.

Good value but wasn't suitable for use in my Durafly Bravado as the length of the can meant that the prop would be sitting too far forward and the shaft adapter was too short to allow the use of the spinner that came in the kit.

I would never buy these motors again. I have had 3 fail on me in flight, within a hour of flight time. Hobbyking happily give me a refund and I thanks them for that. 1 cracked the housing somehow and the other 2 just locked up and would not turn (something inside is screwed) even after i disconnected the motor it was very hard to turn and felt like something was grinding inside. When i started out i thought cheep would be fine but now i am going to buy more expensive motors (the price is what you get). Please splash out a bit more money and buy quality motors.

nice motor but it does not have any way to mount prop unless you mount it backwards and change your mount as you can see from picture there is no screw mounting
