The Turnigy 3 Function Switch features a built-in 5 Amp multi-voltage UBEC and an ultra high brightness LED voltage display which is clearly visible in direct sunshine. It displays in real time, both the UBEC input and output voltages.
Input voltage range is 6-13V, which can be directly supplied by Lithium, NiMh, or NiCd cells. Suggest battery with JST connector.
The UBEC output voltage is switchable between 5.2 or 6V.
• Molded plastic case
• Heavy duty 22awg leads
• Easy mounting tabs
• Selectable output voltage
• Displays both input and output voltage
Input voltage: 6—13V
Output voltage: 5.2/6V
Output current: 5 Amps (MAX: 8A)
Volume: 40mm x 27mm x 35mm
Very good. But what should I do to display volt in and out? Mine just shows input voltage.I use these in my larger electric airplanes. It's good looking, has variable voltage setting and a VERY BRIGHT Red LED Battery voltage display. The switch is well labelled and functional. Very happy with this unit! While it seams a good idea to incorporate both a switch and UBEC into one package it is fairly large and probably only suited to those larger models. Switch feels nice and positive, LED is bright and easy to read and the housing looks quite robust. However, mine too doesn't appear to display the output voltage?Testing so far has not shown me the ubec output voltage being displayed - have I miss read this? Only the input voltage is displayed on mine. All my models have this switch and is ideal as you can see voltage of you batteriesSwitch is fiddly to turn on/off, due to being recessed, but positive in movement. Shouldn't turn off through vibration anytime. Voltage read near enough on my battery (3s) for me. Haven't tried the BEC yet, but assume it will be OK aswell. Seems a good switch and combo meter, but it's fairly chunky. And isn't light.MUY PRACTICO, VOY A CAMBIAR TODOS A ESTE TIPO DE SWITCHBought a few of these for my larger gas models and love them.
Currently using in a large gas 'Stinson' for engine ignition on a high capacity 2 cell lipo and works a treat.
Module is a bit large but I have it mounted in the passenger compartment of the model which gives easy vision of battery voltage readout through cabin window and easy access to swith through cabin door. Readout is bright and clear. As yet no problems at all.
Nice work hobbyking!
