Power your receiver and servos with the baddest of UBEC power solutions.
The all new Turnigy 7.5A UBEC  is an advanced switching DC-DC regulator which will supply a constant 5A or more with short bursts of up to 7.5amps. The Turnigy UBEC plugs into a 3 - 10 Cell Lipoly pack and supplies a constant 5 or 6v to your receiver.
The system includes an anti-short circuit and overheat function with a thin metal shield cover, reducing noise
Also included is an Output filter to reduce noise, an on/off switch and a step down regulator adapter.
Chip efficiency is 92%.

If you have a mid sized plane, with standard servos and want a solid UBEC which wont quit. This is an excellent option.

Spec.
Output (Constant): 5v/5A or 6v/5A
Input: 8v-42v (3-10cell lipo) High Voltage
Size: 48x27x9mm
Weight: 37g
Quiescent current: 20mA
Type: Switching, however because of the noise reduction (thin metal case & filter) this unit gives the same noise as a Linear BEC.

Unit comes with full instructions.

This UBEC is excellent for ground operations.. Low noise at 3 - 4 amps. The more amps you draw the more noisier it gets.
If you wanna use it on a multicoper dont buy this , Search Matek or diatone, they are better.

Worked great on the bench driving servos and RX off a 3S pack, but as soon as I plugged it in to a 6S it gave no output and just heated up. I have had good look with the lower rated Turnigy UBECs in the past, but this one seems to have some issues - will try and get a refund on it.

I have used this UBEC on my HK 600GT with Align FBL head, 3GX 6S setup since 2013.
I has worked great for me and has never failed. In 9/6/13 comments I had blame the UBEC for one failure with it but later determined that the crash was cause by a loose battery solder joint which I did poorly. Yesterday I tried this BEC on my Assault 700 with 12S (50v) setup and it worked perfectly without any overheating ( metal case ). I will keep using and monitoring it since the specs say 42 volts max. This UBEC is a winner in my book

Solid ESC if you do not need more than 5A. I use it quite often in small planes and helicopters.

Note that for high peak currents (>5A) output voltage drops significantly, adding a large capacitor to the output helps.

I use it with the Trackstar 200amp 1/5th ESC. If you didn't know the ESC didn't have BEC circuitry, you sure wouldn't be able to tell looking at the truck. Runs 2 high performance servos smoothly. Highly recommend it.
