Hi, I am writing this review after more than a year of constant use of the motor. I am running the motor at 1500W, 6S, 16x8 APC Prop. It is working very well. I did have to reglue the magnets once and change the bearings and haven't had a problem since. I've seen other brand name motors lose a magnet, and they cost a few times more, so for me it's a no-brainer, get Turnigy, get two just in case one fails and I still spend less than buying brand name motors. Well worth the price, recommended.

This motor looks so small on the pictures, but it is a really monster... And it has much, much power, brings my 4m-sailplane to big heights in seconds. I use it wit two 3S-batteries serialed to a 6S-battery, a 80 Amp-ESC and a 15x8 folding-prop.

Hallo,

lg. Philipp

Habe meinen uralten Robbe Porter (1620 mm Spannweite, Gewicht 4800 g, Luftschraube 15x8, Antriebsakku TURNIGY 4000mAh 5 S, Drehzahlsteller TURNIGY 90 A Opto) elektrifiziert. Bin sehr zufrieden.

Not very good experience. Good power, that s sure. But about 7 flights and one magnet is out. I have not any experience, what glue need to use to fix it back, because standard epoxy can not stay over such temperature, I think.
