High torque inrunner, excellent for running propellers without needing a gearbox.
The unique stator design creates a low current and high torque motor great for outrunner replacements and much more efficient than inrunners of the same size.

AS with other V spec motors I have tried the KV is way, out the only one that is close to the stated KV is the 540-L 810KV; This motor seems to be around 1600KV. I tested it with a Graupner CAM 5.5x5.5 speed prop on a fully charged 2450mAh 4S lipo. Current draw was 30A Volts 15.0 RPM 22,680 efficiency of this motor is very good just above 80pcnt

Brokes very quickly. The problem are the magnets inside the shaft: thei broken like glass and they are not properly fixed.

Very powerful motor, my 2,6 m e- glider weight 1,6 kg is a rocket! Climbs almost vertical, use 10-6 folding prop, aluminium spinner, 2,2 Turnigy 3 cell lipo and 40 amp Hobby King blue ESC. 15 - 20 sec to almost "out of sight" altitude.!

it has got a fan in it.

it won't start with a 20A controler, it goes BRRRRRrrr (cogging), I used a 35A ESC and OK

Bare wires, no connectors, but it's no big deal to solder some 3.5mm bullets.

good motor with high torque the magnets are wery strong, meybi it`s hard to start but the torque is realy ousume.

D540L-1025 Used in my Protech Alpha V2 glider 1800mm wing span.

Gose very well using a 40amp Turnigy plush esc and a 9x5 folding prop with a 25c 2200mah 3 cell lipo. What used to take ages to get up hig now only takes about one minute. Thanks HC for a great motor and ESC At full throttel it draws a max of 16.5amps.

Motor is ok by the processing. Have Appointed 2nd when one of the winding is loose. Motor has enormous cogging. With the little finger to rotate. I'm Going to soon test an in Modelljet.
