Hi guys, this motor really works great on a 600 size heli, lots of power and on 3D it keeps the revs nice and stable. You do get motors that are more efficient but then you have to pay 100$ plus. Running a 11 tooth pinion but thinking of going 14 tooth for more revs. Also the motor only just fits in the HK 600 heli. The T600 1450kv does NOT fit. All in all a nice motor you can't go wrong.and a verry better choise as the NTM-Drive with same 1220kv who alltimes lost and defekt Pinion has.....absolute great Motor in a 550er HK Heli with a 15teeth pinion
same Motor i use it in a 600GT with a 14teeth pinion -> geat for my Flight status
and thats over 300flights per Helikopter ,, thumbs up
Just got mine 1/2 hr ago , great motor just down some quick test on my 5" Haoye edf need a bit of trimming here and there ,on 6S nanotech 4500Mhp lipo and HK 190/200 ESC got solid 11 lb of thrust at 133Ap over 3000 Wp guessing the RPM was around 27-29000 .It,ll go to my new scratch built Mirage 2000 it,s new set up that i,m working on 127mm edf on 6S rather then costly 12S .Thanks King .Incredible motor for the money so far.
Lots of punch on my TSA 600-Pro With a 6S set-up and probably a nice fit for all 600 heli on 6S. Stay pretty cold in pair with a hobbyking YEP 120A LV ESC.
I am a average pilot and just starting 3D ( good sport flyer) with that big bird but I'm not event close to see the limit of that motor so far. I manage to find a buddy code on hk RCsearch and pay only 25$. What a deal...I will give a update after couple more fly.
Take care guysI bought 4 of them. Overall good quality. One of them though, had a bent shaft ! touching the inside and making noise. Motor was disassembled... Magnets have half the configuration ( there is space for twice the magnets...) compared to say, the turnigy 600, meaning they cost less to manufacture, no wonder it's only 30 bucks. Front bearing is NMB but not the back one and it only has two bearings total, not 3 ot 4 compared to other motors here. You get what you pay is absolutely true here.
