Nice motor, lots of power.
Pulls my 19,8 lbg (5,9KG) dynaflite Super Decathlon with ease unlimited vertical.
On arrival, the shaft was loose in the bell, thats why 4 stars for Quality.

Use Turnigy Sentilon 100HV ESC and Nanotech 4500 10s1p.
Flight time exceeds 10min !

With APC gas-prop 20x8 : rpm 6300, amp 50A, volt 32V, Watt 1700W
With APC electric 20x10 : rpm 7200, amp 52A, volt 34V, watt 1768W

can anyone tell me whatC rating lipos i should be looking for with this motor? I plan on running 2 4S packs in series to make 8S. is 15C or 20C enough for a 75" Edge 540?

Just received the motor, dimensions are not correct, it's bigger and heavier. Total 765 Grams including cables. Hobbyking please give us the right information. 125 grams more is really too much...

I have had 11 flights so far using a 20x8 Menz wooden prop on 10s 5000 mah with a turnigy 100 amps esc,plenty of power in a 25% Katana but the shaft kept slipping causing the alloy collar to rub against the x mount and producing an awfull noise.After a bit of thinking i added a 10 mm ballrace between the motor end plate and the shaft collar that has done the job ,

8 out of 10 and alot of watts for not alot of money,

Motor wird in einer Planet Hobby Mustang P 51 B, Spannweite 1.800, Gewicht ca. 7,15 kg eingesetzt (2 x 5 S 5.000 mAh, 20x10 Luftschraube, 76 Amp.). Leider haben sich die Magneten nach dem ersten Flug geloest (ca. 6 Minuten Flug). Hobby King Ihr wisst doch, dass hier Probleme gibt, wieso aendert Ihr das nicht ? Ansonsten Motor suuuper, sehr gute Leistung, eigentlich empfehlenswert, aber wegen den Magneten vergebe ich nur 4 Sterne.

The engine is probaly a good one but got this to repalce another ...the mesurments are wrong in the add...the engine is longer and heavier.

The old one is strong but the bearings had to replace and it had some unbalance.
