    Once again we instructed our engineers to develop a motor that would not only rival but surpass the quality of the leading motors on the market today using the best quality magnets, bearings, and materials available.


    The result is an outstanding series of motors that are efficient, strong, and robust enough for the most discerning modeler.


    All of the SK3 series use quality double-shielded bearings, sintered neodymium magnets (the strongest type of permanent magnet commercially available), and a string wound stator to ensure accurate and consistent winding each and every time.


    The Turnigy SK3 motors are suited to modelers who are seeking a top-quality brushless motor without compromise.

    Have three of these motors, one turned out faulty which was replaced by HK., thanks. Have these in 2 planes with 100amp esc's. Running 6 cell batteries. Could have gone 80mah but that's all I could get at the time. One I have in a Phoenix PC9 (46 size) with a three blade prop. Works well.

    Great motor

    Paired with a 13x10 and 100amp esc in a hangar 9 meridian. It screams for a plane that is not a screamer. 98MPH on gps. The amps ocassioanlly peg out passed max but the motor is never burning hot. I plan to purposely push it to see what it will take. If I fry it, I'll move to a higher amped SK3.

    Absolutely, definitely best engine in the 50 Class! Unsurpassed in terms of power on 6S! I'm using a xoar 16x7 thats 76 Amps max on my 3D ship, awesome performance, highly recommended!

    Benchtest shows 63Amps peak with 5000/6S/40C battery, YEP 100A ESC, and Turnigy 15x6 lightwood prop . A Gemfan 14x7 prop deliveres 54amps peak current . I will put this combination in a Calmato 60 Alpha Sports and I am sure it will be an absolutely great setup for normal aerobatics as well as glider towing. The Motor runs very quiet and smooth so far.
