I have 6 of these 160A ESCs all work but are rather variable in quality and operation but at that price they are OK. I have used them in three 1.24 scale boats 2 motors per boat max output 60A on a 3Sbattery . Can pick up interference so beware!! also do not connect two ESC on a Y lead to the receiver as they will interfere with each other and make sure the cooling is working. Good Luck.

Would not recommend!!!!! !!! !!! !!! !! !!

I brought one, this blew up after 5 minutes with a motor that only pulls 90A... thought it might be the motor or a bad ESC, Brought a new motor and another one of these ESC's, the motor was recommended on the forums after a week of looking.... This was a bad idea.. This also blew up, lets hope that the product being within the 14 days warranty will get a full refund.

Very nice looking esc, but thats about it. Mine lasted 3 uses, about 20 mins all up before it died. The setup was on 5s pulling about 70 amps max, well below the 160 amp cont rating. I decided to repair it myself rather than mucking around sending it back, but after seeing the quality of the insides I wont bother. An extra zener diode had been added on the input and very poorly done resulting in a short, damaging the two filtering caps. There are also numerous other suspect joints as well. Wouldn't waste your money

It's works fine. BUT, there are two problems. The first one is funny. As you can see, there is a mount rail on the side of the housing. Maybe they planned to mount the switch on it. But if you decide to do this, you realise the switch will be in the way of the cooling pipe. :D The second one, is the material of the cooling pipe connectors is iron, so it's get rusted in a year, and the rust close the hole, so the water cant flow troug, your ESC can get overheat.
