This Handy unit will emit a loud beep if your reciever loses radio signal or when the voltage of your models radio system drops below 4v. Perfect for testing ground range of receivers and ensuring that your radio system has not dropped to an unsafe voltage before each flight.
Simply install the Be Found between the receiver and any servo in your radio system. The interval of the beeps may also be adjusted to your liking via the trim pot.
At this price the Be Found is a great investment for the safety of your model. Without a Turnigy Be Found you may be lost!
Operation Voltage: 4 ~ 9 Volts (Maximum Voltage: 10.0V)
This little buddy saves me a lot of hours for searching when my model is down somewhere. Not a battery drain. Lightweight and cheap !This little buddy saves me a lot of hours for searching when my model is down somewhere. Not a battery drain. Lightweight and cheap !I have these and also the stand alone alarms that occupy a channel on their own. Theu work great and very happy .... BUT one aspect that ruins a great product. If your main power source gets disconnected in the crash or bad landing as so often happens - the alarm is just ballast and does not work. I am now looking for same units but a way to have a tiny power source for it so if main power gets cut - the alarm will have its own ... now that will make a good item brilliant.great gadget. works fine with my orange Rx so no problems for all you young chaps, trouble with the high pitch alarm for a pensioner who is starting to get hard of hearing i can barely hear it! i shall just have to ask a younger mate to help me find my quad in the grass!!!Always wanted one of these, so ordered 2 in one of my orders only to find they don't work on 2.4gh radio systems!
I ordered these at 99 cents each. (ordered 3). it took some times for me to figure out how to get it to work correctly with the CC3D board. but once I did i was very happy to have this feature. the volume of the beeper is a little weak for being out in the field. I would up daisy chaining 3 of them together for that added volume. Would be nice if they were just louder so I only need 1. overall a good buy. though I see the price has tripled. not sure what that's all about.i currently haven't been able to figure out how to work this and it hasn't been working for me, i bought this for my brand new teksumo but wish i could get it workingthese work well in regular rc models, just set it up on a switch and your good. they however do not work with ppm quadcopter controllers. you willl have to remove the buzzer from the housing and solder power and ground to it to get it to work for that purposeDoesnt work with any Receivers. Did not work with my Graupner HOTT System. An no manual or hints for the installation! Very bad product!
