Powerful motor

The first motor that I received quit working on the maiden flight of my Hangar 9 P-51 glow to electric conversion. Luckily we had enough altitude to land without crashing. A piece of hard electrical insulation got stuck in the motor and ruined it. Hobbyking sent me another motor right away. The plane is just under 7 pounds, and this motor along with a 60 amp esc and 3s or 4s 4000mAh lipo flies well. I am new to flying and don't do acrobatics but I am sure it will. Great motor at a reasonable price.

Good Motor

Got this for a MPX Funray, which is not a good fit. This motor does not allow you to move the shaft out the other end. There is no groove for the retaining clip. Otherwise I guess the motor is OK.

For the money, Turnigy brand motors are the best on the market. Runs smooth and cool. I own several and have them in many of my planes. Not one of them has so much as hiccuped. Good speed, great torque and best of all, easy on the budget.
