The pins that are connected to the retract where the oleo leg is sitting in are week break ezy had to remove and put stainless steel shaft in for stronger support

Nice looking retracts ezy to install work great. The only thing that Hobby king should add in there listing information is for what size plain that they are suited for as the wheels are small even though the dimension of wheels are described, the length of the arms are good.

I ordered these, and overall they're pretty awesome so far. Unfortunately the struts are much longer than advertised. Both the mains and front are 149mm from the pivot to the bottom of the wheel. Unfortunately the struts are only drilled down 25mm, so trimming them down will take a lot of work. I won't be able to use them in the plane I ordered them for (based on HK recommendation), but I can find something to put them in.

Nice, sturdy retracts. Setting up nose wheel steering is a fiddly task (my issue was that the gear bay I had to work with was very narrow) but works well once you get there.

Very nice built gear. Nice and smooth operation. Also servo-less and no extra space using servos needed. Nice quality wheels. And actual suspension for forgiving landings.

I ordered these by mistake for my F16 model. They are of the wrong configuration for it, because the wheels are mounted at 0 degrees, and i needed the type 'C' wheels, which are mounted at a 20 degree offset. Having been pleasantly surprised at the speed of delivery, I was mad at myself for making this mistake. But instead of returning them for the correct ones, and having to wait another 3 or 4 weeks, I decided to see if I could adapt them for my F16. I undid the grubscrews that hold the wheel axle to the strut, and measured the thickness. I then bought a length of steel rod the same size, bent a 20 degree angle into it, and then trimmed them to length. Refitted them to the struts, and retained the wheels onto the axles with collets from the original kit wheels...and they are perfect!! Such an easy fix, and I am surprised the manufacturers don't make this simple for themselves AND us, by supplying a kit of two different axles for either 0 degree or 20 degree offsets. Would save themselves a lot of production costs.

Thanks Hobbyking! Shame you don't carry more products in Europe to facilitate delivery here...how about it?
