Unbeatable for the price :)

Zippy-H 3s2200 20C, Turnigy Plus 40A:

Graupner 12,5x6 -> 40A

Graupner 11x8 -> 42A

It hover my 1,2m Katana of 1150g with both props, with the 12,5x6 at around 55-60% of throttle.

Great buy!

I bolted one of these to nose of my scratch built Big Flat Ultimate. On Zippy 3S 2200mHa 20~30C lipos and spinning an APC style 14x7e prop it draws 42A at WOT on a fresh lipo. It makes huge power and will hover my BFU at a ittle over a third throttle. See the video at RCGroups here http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=971410

APC E 12x6 Prop and 8xGP2200 NiMH accu withdraw 26A and it is very nice flight, 2S LiIon 1300 only 16A, but Plane not flying.

Recommended for trainers and Cessna style Plane about 1,6 - 2 m and 3S LiPoly battery.

Very strong and robust motor. I use in 1,8 m and 1,8 kg Foam Magpie (www.webservis.sk/modelweb see U-3 model and video), with 12x8 prop and 8 cell NiMH GP2200 withdraw 30A and fly slow and elegant on half throttle. Prop Adapter is designed for 5 mm shaft and 8 mm prop hole!

this motor has so much pull in my 900g mpx blizzard, i havent yet got round to using the recommended 11x7 but i have been using a 11x 5.5 which i had lying around, this when matched with a 4 cell 2100 and a 60amp esc gives unlimited vertical

Great value for performance

Nov 14, 2007

I would compare the workmanship to that of DUAL-SKY. I put this motor in my Multiplex Gemini, now this model is alive with performance. I am running a 10x10 prop but I do not have equipment to monitor the amp drain. Highly recommended motor.

Great motor

Nov 14, 2007

I've got this motor on a 44" Votec profile with the Simple Series 40A ESC and HXT 3S 2200 battery.

Will 3D all day long with great pull out from a hover.

A great buy all around.

For the price these motors are the ducks nuts, it's spinning a custom 3 blade prop made from 3, 10.5x5 GWS props on a 50mm spiner and hardly gets warm on a static test.

I'll buy 3 more for my project now i've tested this one :)
