I receive my first G60 500kv, I have two one was still on customs, the one i have is use for NXT Nemesis, I will use Aerofly 70Amp ESc. Im so excited to maiden the beautiful plane, hoping no problem will occur regarding the G60 motor.I did some static prop tests on this motor which proved to be very powerful.
Using a fully charged 6s LIPO (circa 25volts) it showed 67amps/1569watts on a 13x8 APC prop with the figures slowly falling away to 60amps/1447watts as the battery voltage declined.
On a 14x8 APC prop it recorded 77amps/1723watts dropping to 70a/1600w as voltage dropped.
Finally I tried a 15x8 APC prop but chose not to do a full power run because at about three quarters throttle my meter was reading 90+amps and 2000+watts and climbing.
Given that the motor is rated at 65amps I would suggest that a 13x8 prop represents a good safe option although my feeling is that 14x8 may well prove to be the sweet spot in real world flying (as opposed to a static bench test).Just received the motor. What's with the 10mm prop adaptor??? It only has a 3mm hole in the centre for the spinner bolt too, I would have thought it would be 4mm due to the size of the prop driver. I am going to have to get the prop driver turned down to 8mm to fit all my props, I don't even have a prop reamer that goes out to 10mm and none of the APC props have a 10mm adaptor. Even my Rotomax 1.20 and 1.40 have 8mm prop shafts.

52 Ampere bei Vollgas, Steigt wie eine Rakete hoch. Ferner habe ich diesen Motor in meinem Fieseler Storch 2,08 m Spannweite, 5 kg. Aus meiner bescheidenen Sicht kann ich den Motor voll empfehlen.
