I've bought many of these motors, replace the grub screws to the motor mount with star screws, cut the threaded part of the shaft off and use a normal 3mm prop adaptor, use a MA8x6 prop and a 30-40amp esc (it draws 28amps with the MA 8x6 prop) it will pull around 280watts and last longer than your plane will! EXCELLENT motor great price, absolute perfect combo for your teksumo! or any plane 1.5kg or less. I have them on a teksumo, a modified bixler2, diamond da40 sport, grasshopper/cub, ugly junior, just a great motor for small foamies

In my Trainstar Exchange (1.01kg), 25A ESC, 2200 3S 25C. Cut the shaft, fitted a prop adapter.

8x4.5 SF - 400W, 35A.
7x6 JXF - 300W, 25A.

The 8x4.5 had great climb rate but at 400W I can't see the motor lasting long, spent most of the flight on 1/4-1/2 throttle, full seemed like it was going to tear the plane apart. The 7x6 wasn't bad either, plenty of power and full was still pretty fast.

Original was 9x4.5 on 2812 equiv.

I have now have 8 of these motors. I have used then on quad copters and flying wings.
These are super little units. I am running two of them on separate deltas on 4s with 6-4 props . 317 watts , 21 amps on a 400 gram all up weight. the small home design deltas really
skedaddle . I highly recommend these moters.

Top motor - put two in the Durafly Comet - standard props - on a 3S lipo 2200 mAH gives unlimited vertical - Comet gets fast around the field. Flighttime around 8 minutes. Very good quality like always from Turnigy.

Perfect for replacement of light aircraft 182 Cessna, just needed to keep the base from original motor that fits perfeclty. It allows to keep same bolts. More powerfull than original motor.

Have bought 3 of these for a DH-89 Dragon Rapide (home design). motors run well but one developed a rub internally when operating at max speed. a coil winding was loose and moved from the stator to the gap between stator and rotor magnets. Unit disassembled quite easily and winding was reinstalled. No problems with it on the bench so far.

2 of 3 motors had noticeable end play in bearings. Do not know yet whether this will be a problem for durability in flight. At $8 each, I'm buying spares.

Running with 3s 4000mAh lipo for 2 30Amp ESC's and motors. 7X4.5 prop.

Bought this for my Minimoa as a replacement. Have bench tested and seemed to be working with no problems. I will need to cut the shaft down to length as it is way to long and re drill 2 new holes on the motor mount to fit the correct alignment to the Minimoa.
