Un peu dcevant. Manque le delta en mV entre les lments. Pas d'quilibrage. Boitier un peu cheap. Reste tester la fiabilit...

My two chargers (iCharger and Hyperion) don't wrong with the display. The internal resistance numbers look wrong, off by a factor of 5-10, compared to the iCharger IR measure, which I trust. For example, on five different 3S 2200mAh packs, I read between 5 and 17 milliohm per cell. The Mega Checker displays between 43 and 51 milliohm. This leaves me with an expensive cell voltage checker in the field, which I have already in my charger. Disappointing.

Handy checker. Good for internal resistance too. Oh, and cheap.

Just received it and ran tests. Per cell measurements are pretty accurate (measured maximum 6S cause I don't have anything higher) and live updated. It also has a loud alarm for cell voltage out of range.
Voltage and current readings are available only when coupled with charger but it worth every cent! I've copled it with new Turnigy Mega 200Wx2 and old Venom Pro Charger - both worked flawlessly streaming current, total voltage and per cell voltage (all were with two decimals accuracy!). It also shows total charge time and has good power saving features: backlight is turned off after several seconds and screen is turned off after charging ends, pressing M button wakes it up and you could check total charge time and voltage/current graphs.
It also shows mAh counter and temperature on "Unit" (per cell voltage) screen. I.R.M. is nice feature and different C-rating batteries have different readings but they tend to be inaccurate ( /- 10mOhms) but mostly because of imperfect balance plug connections for this fine measurement.

BTW charge cable has right polarity, no problems with it. And be ready to get device slightly larger than modern smartphone (and two time thicker!), but it has good rubber legs on it's bottom!

Mine arrived yesterday. I've verify polarity of charging cable before use - it was OK. Battery was at 20pcnt of charge. Tested it with two different chargers. Turnigy MAX 200A don't send dataflow on USB port. But with G.T.Power A6 works great! As for me - a great instrument for 15 bucks.

This unit was received on 12 September 2012. I checked the USB charge cord and it has the correct polarity. I would still encourage everyone to check the cord for some time to ensure you received and item with the correction. It does have an internal battery so charge it before use. The unit functions from the internal battery, not the battery under test. If the internal battery is down, you cannot use the meter at all.

The unit will work as a basic Lixx battery checker. Turn the unit on, plug in the battery balance connector and you will see the cell count and individual cell values for 30 seconds. It does not provide total voltage or cell difference. After 30 seconds, it goes in to USB monitor mode. You have to unplug the battery and plug it back in to get another measurement.

Note: The polarity of the balance connector is not marked. The negative is at the top as viewed from the front. This the same for the internal resistance connector.

To measure internal resistance, extend the two pin plug with the slider on the back, turn the unit on, and hold the MODE button until the unit goes into internal resistance mode. Insert the two pins into the battery balance plug for each cell and read the IR for 1 and .5 ohms and at 1kHz/1ohm. The three values give you a better idea of the resistance of the cell.

The USB monitoring mode makes this unit a simple external display for a co

I dont use every possible option, but only checking the voltage on field. Very precised on every cell. Very advanced tool for small price.

I received mine yesterday and checked the charging USB cable. REVERSED POLARITY. So I cut it and soldered white to red instead white - white and red- red. I'm just charging it without any problems. But honestly - such things should not happen. One could burn the house in the worst case.
