MultiStar ESCs are are a quality speed controller at a fantastic price! Designed for simple installation and easy setup these ESCs have proven to offer excellent performance when used in Multi-rotor applications. If your starting out in Multi-rotors and need an easy to install solution that is tested and proven to work with Multi-rotor craft then these speed controllers have you covered.

These ESC's features a very smooth yet linear throttle response, without sacrificing a rapid, crisp, response to any throttle input. Safety is not forgotten with all Multistar Esc's featuring adjustable battery LVC (set battery type to LiXX to disable LVC), stalled motor (overload) protection, signal loss shut-down and safe arming.

All Multistar series ESC's come with bullet connectors installed that are suited to the ESC's rated power handling. What could be simpler?

All Multistar ESC's feature an ATmega MCU that opens the door to customizable firmware - for those so inclined! or alternatively a programming card can be used with the installed software for quick and easy setup with the pre-flashed software.

I used these on a custom hex I built and so far they are working flawless. Don't forget to pick up a UBEC as these won't power your board.

Cheap. Not as good, what it should be used for - BUT: If flashed with SimonKs firmware the run fine.

If you buy these, be prepared to buy a USBasp programmer and the Atmel adapter. The firmware is garbage. I paired these with the Multistar 2212 motors and a Naze32 Full on a TBS Discovery frame. This was a nightmare to control. I updated the Naze, re-sync'd motors, reset my remote, played with PID settings...nothing worked. I finally paid for the $20 Atmel programming cable and flashed these with SimonK firmware. Without any changes to other components, she now flies without issue.

Sure, these are cheap...but when you add up the addition of a programmer, specialized cable and time, you're better spending the money on higher quality ESCs.

Works as stated, bought a couple for some multirotors. Remember to get the programming card and some UBEC or ESC with BEC if needed too.

Ready to use ESC. Work very well. Just need to calibrate throttle and everything is OK. They give you no problems and good response for normal flying. Although in little aggressive flying response is also super fast. I'm not superexpert so I have no ttried them at superaggressive flying. Nice ESC !!

I'm running these on a quad. the hovering current is about 5 amps per esc.
I've ran 4 10 minute test hovers and the motors and battery stay cool but the esc is so hot it will take the skin off your finger. I am running hi timing. not sure that would make any difference. I am running four cells.
I will have to replace these as I believe the heat will kill them sooner or later...
