I bought 6 of these engines. Good quality, perfect balance. Bearings really inferior quality. Static measurements (LiPo4S5000mAh) thrust of the propeller APC (12x3,8-16A = 1500 g) (13x4-12A = 1330 g) (14x4,7-22,5A = 1830 grams - but after 5min very warm) with carbon propeller (13x4 -11A = 1250 g) Test Hexacopter in hover without a gimbal and camera 30A. In flight 70A.

Koupil jsem 6 tyto motory. Kvalita dobr, vyven perfektn. Loiska opravdu hor kvalita. Statick men (LiPo4S5000mAh) thrust s vrtule APC:(12x3,8-16A=1500g)(13x4-12A=1330g)(14x4,7-22,5A=1830g - ale po 5min velmi tepl), s karbonovou vrtul: (13x4-11A=1250g) Test Hexacopter v hover bez gimbal a camery 30A. V letu 70A.

Just bought 4 and 3 of them have bearing issues where like others if spun by hand click and grind , This has left me with 3 useless motors till i replace all the bearing as i refuse to fly anything not up to scratch , thinking about contacting HK for refund :/

Very good, smooth running and efficient Motor. With an APC 13x4.5, it produces 500g thrust at only 4A. My 2Kg quad hovers at 17A and i get around 30pcnt more flight time compared to my previous motors NTM 28-30S. Great price also!

But be careful: The screws for the propholder that come with the Motor ar slightly too long and on some motors, they will touch the stator locking pin in the Motor. There is a locking pin between the bearings of the motor and the stator so that the stator doesn't move. This pin was not pushed all the way in at 3 out of 6 motors and it touched the screw endings of the propholder. Solutions: Shorter screws or disasembling the Motor and taping the pin all the way in. That's what I did.

Flying these on a QAV500 WITH 10" slow fly props. These motors make serious power on Nanotech 4s 4000mah batteries/30 amp Hobbyking ESC's /CC3D and are the quietest motors I have flown on any quad.I have four
quads from mini to 500 size and this is the smoothest feeling quad I own.
Thought they might be a bit much for this frame but I was pleasantly surprised how well this combination works together.

All in all good motor for the price, I use it with 13x4 carbon props and got maximum 15A and 1.3kg thryst from motor with 4s. I'll go for 13x6.5. Only drawback, bearings is from cheap ones. After about hour of total flying there are little play in 3 motors out of 4. (Propellers are balanced of course). So I'll change all of them, maybe even to ceramics. If anyone interested, size of bearings are 4x9x4.

Very pleased with this motor. I have installed it in the H.A.L. with a 12x4.7 prop, and it hovers nicely at 45pcnt throttle on a 3S LiPo. I chose this motor for its great flexibility as it will take up to 5S as the weight of the quad goes up when you start adding your payload.
Forget the smaller props for this motor. If you want to spin a 10" prop get a motor with a higher kV. Torque is king!

Nice motors so far, I am running 4 of these on a 750mm quad from TMQuads. 30 amp Mystery ESC flashed with Simon K 12x4.7 slow fly props. 4 pounds (1.8kg) total weight. 2.5 HK flight control 4000ma 3s battery yields 16minutes of flight time , will hover aprox 20 minutes. Very pleased. Motors and esc are barely warm.
