    Product Description

    Turnigy MultiStar BLHeli-S Rev 16 ESC's are the latest generation of speed controllers designed specifically for multirotors (drones). They are super simple to install and very easy to set up.



    These ESC's have superior performance and utilize hardware generated motor PWM for smooth throttle response. Another feature of these ESC's is Oneshot125 which is a faster communication protocol between the flight controller and the ESC on your multirotor. It allows the flight controller to send commands to the motor quicker allowing faster acceleration, regenerative braking and active freewheeling. They also support Dshot600 without the requirement of any hardware modification. Dshot is a new communication protocol between the flight controller and the ESC and is a substitute for Oneshot and Multishot., Dshot stands for "Digital Shot".



    The BLHeli-S Rev 16 40A has masses of programming parameters (see the list below) and can be programmed easily from your transmitter or using the MultiStar programming card. The ESC comes with battery leads (no connector) and control lead (with connector). Just solder on the motor leads. With its small lightweight design, these ESC's will have you racing faster without breaking the bank.

     

    These ESCs can be flashed with the latest DShot150, DShot300 and Dshot 600 firmware without any hardware modification. Dshot is a new communication protocol between the flight controller and the ESC and is a substitute for Oneshot and Multishot., Dshot stands for "Digital Shot".

    Firstly, this ESC does what it’s supposed to. But if there’s one thing that annoys me is that most people seem to sell ESCs without the documentation required for programming. I find that annoying. HK are normally good at supplying info but this has no like to programming info.

    Ive used these esc in several quads and a twinsu twin motor airplane, with some of the biggest and baddest high current quad motors on the market (2600kv viking and tmotor f80) with agressive props. Works really well and reliable as long as you calibrate them properly. In a plane, give full throttle and plug in the lipo, there will then be a series of beeps. After they stop, lower throttle to zero and there will be some more beeps. Unplug lipo after these last beeps finished and youre done.
    Same procedure for quads. In beta/cleanflight go to motors tab. Tick enable motors and use master slider to give full throttle, then plug in the lipo. After the beeps are done, lower throttle to zero and unplug lipo after the lest beeps are done. Done!

    Tiny Tiny 40A ESC

    I actually put this in a 1/10th RC car and it worked really well after flashing with the BLHeli software to set it for forward and reverse. gets a little warm in the car. I didn't check the amps and the cooling is poor, but the ESC just keeps going!
