More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rate than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots, it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Spec.
Capacity: 2200mAh
Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V
Discharge: 45C Constant / 90C Burst
Weight: 254g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 100x35x33mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT60

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kW/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

Good batteries but I have not got near 90C at any time, The most I got in a peak was 109A (50C). You have to pay attention to charge/discharge cycles and not to abuse them if you do not want them to puff.

Bought this for my Freewing F22 and it fits perfect with room to spare.

They do really well but are not very strong. The plastic rips very easily when crashing, mine even dented and 1 cell opened up.

Very good lipo for this price. Actually <10 charging cycles, but discharge is trully 45C (maybe little more). It needs good care about it, but it is no problem for me. Actually charging it at 3C.

I am using this battery with 250 size quad (2208 2000kv motors, 5045 bull nose props, hobbywing 20A esc's), total quad weight with battery ~620 grams (even with such weight quad is like a rocket!). I get 8-10 minutes of flight time! If I push quad hard, it will be about 5-6mins. This battery is awesome! Now I am building much lighter 210 size version, which weight with this battery and fpv equipment will be ~500 grams. Highly recommended battery!

I ordered these to replace the Turnigy NaNo-Tech 2200-30c in my Stinger 64. they are a little bigger and heavier, but a nice power boost.

Balances well and delivers a good punch. Have two of these that have lived through 30 cycles with virtually no reduction in performance. I use them in my MX2 1230mm with a 1250kv motor, 12x6 prop and an EFX Racer with an 80A ESC and a NTM 2836 3000kv, prop 5x5E and 4.75x4.75, the thing screams. Recommend.

I needed more power but had limited space in my HL 70mm F-16. I was flying with Nano Tech 25-40c 2200mah and a DR. Mad Thrust 70mm. I was only getting 3 min, but the scariest was my pacs were puffing. Upon recommendation I went with a higher C rating and the 45c did the trick with a power increase and nearly an additional minute.
