More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those who love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!e!

Suited to the following models: MIKADO LOGO400, ALIGN T-REX500, GUAI EP425/550/X5, Compass Atom 500, MSH Protos500, JR Vibe 500E

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 2200.00
  • Discharge(c) 25.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 5.00
  • Length-A(mm) 119.00
  • Height-B(mm) 35.00
  • Width-C(mm) 46.00

Arrived next day after ordering, so really pleased with the service there. Using them on my SAB Goblin 380, loads of power and excellent flight times. They have swollen ever so slightly even though I am extremely careful with discharge percentages, never below 20pcnt and I only charge at 1c. I am running idle up 1 at 80pcnt throttle ungoverned and getting 6 minute flight times doing fairly aggressive 3d so cannot fault these batteries!!!

Just fits in my precision aerobatics katana mx. thought I would try this instead of 2 x 2200 3s1p. Fits well now just need good weather to go fly.

Flew this battery on my 500 clone. After the flight I was at 3.6v per cell, so I don't think you would call that over discharged. The battery was VERY hot and somewhat puffed. I won't be buying these again.

Received promptly.Cells checked and were all balanced.Initial charge at 1c took 45 mins.Time will tell, but seems like good value with plenty of power.Have not had a chance to test properly,so will update review.

They loose power after 50 cycles. After 70 cycles still flyable for 4 minutes instead of 6 minutes but voltage drop dramatically. I use governor store, so only the fly time is relevant, rpm is constant. I didn't treat it carefully. Sometimes I used 100pcnt, in average 90pcnt of the charged power. So it is very good for the price and it weights only 330 gr. with connectors. Perfect for Protos 500. Nevertheless I will try the turningy 2200 40c next season. Somebody posted 150 cyles! Did anybody already compare these lipos? Cycles, weight, .... Thanks for answeres.
