More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious peformance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Spec.
Capacity: 2250mAh
Voltage: 3S1P / 3 Cell / 11.1V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 207g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 104 x 35 x 27 mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: XT60

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 2250.00
  • Discharge(c) 65.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 8.00
  • Length-A(mm) 104.00
  • Height-B(mm) 35.00
  • Width-C(mm) 27.00

Great battery for the price! I have had them for three years and punished them, and the are still going strong.

If you need the juice, this will provide it. I always thought Nanos suck but turns out they're great!

The 2.25mAh 3S battery is perfect for my Armattan high-performance quadrocopters. I've purchased 10 of these so far and they have all been solid with great performance and reliability.

I received 4 of these batteries yesterday and after 20 quad copter flights (five on each battery) I am very impressed with how well the battery responds. I don't see early low voltage alerts that always appear after extreme maneuvers on my other lower C value batteries (mostly 20C but even two supposed 45C batteries). I am also seeing an extra minute of flight time. Yes 65C batteries are a bit more expensive but these deliver the value. I really like these batteries.

Hi everyone,
I have been flying RC for over 30 yrs, electric about half that time. I fly planes and mainly helis. My personal choice of product is anything from Miniture Aircraft. I have 21 helis and 70 planes ( all of them are not flight ready) My favorite is helis by far the small 450 size. My favorites are my 2 MA FURIONS. Anyway I have tried all the different brands of lipos ( well almost LOL) my favorite used to be TP - thunder Power. For the 450 size helis I use 3 cell 2250 lipos. I love the G6 series rated at 65C - 130C burst. The lowest price i have found for those is around $44.00. Now lets talk turnigy, I use there charges along with TP. and the thunder power chargers are better, but both work fine. As far as newer lipos - well it is a different time as far as batteries go. Anyway I compared the tunigy nan-tech 2250 65C to the TP - g6 65C. Here are the results, both perform fine and work great for extreme 3D, but the turnigy is better! Yes I said better then TP. After 12 flights the nano-tech was cooler had more voltage and less difference in indevidual cell measurment after each flight, it also charges faster at 1C and at 6C almost 15 percent faster. The build of the turnigy is far better then TP. The balance connector wires are the soft silicon and not hard wire that always comes loose after a while, Wrapper and cover is far superior. So if you want a good battery f
