    More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

    For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

    Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;

    • Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

    The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

    These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

    I purchased this battery about a week ago and from my experience, have had some amazing performance with it. Along with a turnigy aerodrive D3530/14 1100kv and a 9x6 prop, this battery will power a 39" versa wing for well over 20 mins with amazing speed and without dropping below 3.5v per cell. I have not clocked it but it runs about 45mph at half throttle and probably over 70 mph at full throttled. With enough power to carry a fully set up wing with a gopro camera vertical limitlessly, this battery does more than its job Without even getting very warm. I ordered this battery with an order of turnigy pure-silicone wire and was disappointed to see that it arrived without the wire, but I am glad to say that without a claim or announcement the wire arrived in the mail today. Overall very impressed with hobbyking on this order.

    I run this in series with a 2S 3300mah pack for flying my high performance wings. I'm pushing out about 40-60A from these batteries for extended periods and they deliver without any problems.

    I bought this battery to run my HK quad. It worked well for a few flights. Then I had to stop flying for three months. When I returned for flyghts, battery was not holding the charge anymore. Now I have to order other battery. I will try to find other brand to check whether or not it will last longer. Marcio

    the battery is good quality. on my quad f450 the flight time is very long in relation to the weight; only negative seems to be the poor quality of internal connections (welding), which seem "weak"
