More than just a fancy name. TURNIGY nano-tech Lipoly batteries were designed from the ground up with serious performance in mind. Utilising an advanced LiCo nano-technology substrate that allows electrons to pass more freely from anode to cathode with less internal impedance. In short; less voltage sag and a higher discharge rates than a similar density lithium polymer (non nano-tech) batteries.

For those that love graphs, it means higher voltage under load, straighter discharge curves and excellent performance. For pilots it spells stronger throttle punches and unreal straight-up performance. Excellent news for 3D pilots!

Unfortunately with other big brands; numbers, ratings and graphs can be fudged. Rest assured, TURNIGY nano-techs are the real deal, delivering unparalleled performance!

Spec.
Capacity: 3300mAh
Voltage: 4S1P / 4 Cell / 14.8V
Discharge: 65C Constant / 130C Burst
Weight: 409g (including wire, plug & case)
Dimensions: 134 x 43 x 32mm
Balance Plug: JST-XH
Discharge Plug: HXT-4mm

Advantages over traditional Lipoly batteries;
• Power density reaches 7.5 kw/kg.
• Less Voltage sag during high rate discharge, giving more power under load.
• Internal impedance can reach as low as 1.2mO compared to that of 3mO of a standard Lipoly.
• Greater thermal control, pack usually doesn’t exceed 60degC
• Swelling during heavy load doesn’t exceed 5%, compared to 15% of a normal Lipoly.
• Higher capacity during heavy discharge. More than 90% at 100% C rate.
• Fast charge capable, up to 15C on some batteries.
• Longer Cycle Life, almost double that of standard lipoly technology.

The nano-core technology in lithium ion batteries is the application of nanometer conductive additives. The nanometer conductive additives form ultra-strong electron-conducting networks in the electrodes which can increase electronic conductivity.

These additives create the ability for imbibition in the carrier liquid to supply more ion channels. This improves the ability of ion transmission and ion diffusion. Through improving electronic conductivity and ion transmission, the impedance is reduced and the polarization of high rate discharge decreases greatly.

  • Capacity (mAh) 3300.00
  • Discharge(c) 65.00
  • Max Charge Rate(C) 8.00
  • Length-A(mm) 134.00
  • Height-B(mm) 43.00
  • Width-C(mm) 32.00

Bought this as a jump starter for my nissan micra - Not only did it work but it started a honda civic, honda jazz, AND A BLOODY PEJERRO TOO!! This thing packs a bigger punch than you're willing to use.

They're ok. I haven't had any totally fail or puff on me yet... but on all of my batteries (this model), even after a very easy cruising/test flight on my hexacopter, one or two of the middle cells drop wildly out of range, without any draw within burst C range either. I am using per cell monitoring with a modest alarm between 3.1-3.3 volts and landing immediately. Price seems a bit high, considering moving away from Turnigy in the future.

They work, they haven't failed yet, but my confidence is not strong with this product, price considered.

Started to puff after only 2 flights. Incredibly powerful just like all nanotechs but once they get like this expect pretty bad voltage sag cause there's a lot more internal resistance. Honestly though I probably just got a bad one, I have many nanotechs and this was the first to puff so soon. It's aggravating that I'm out $50 but there still isn't another battery out there more powerful for the money.

I use these in a Starmax F14 and they perform very good. The F14 draws 100A at full speed and this battery delivers!

just like all nano-tech batteries this give more than enough juice and ample flight time with 4x 17amp motors

HobbyKing deletes reviews they do not like. Purchased two batteries over Christmas. Due to an unusual winter here in VA I was not able to use the batteries until recently. Discovered one cell discharged approximately .2 more than the others. After about 5 cycles my balance charger now times out due to the bad cell. HobbyKing refused to review my warranty claim.

unfortunately like all of the other nano-tech packs ive bought one cell has died on this pack as well as the pack starting to swell. I land my hex when the voltage reads 3.6 per cell just because it can take a few minutes to get it down and I don't want the voltage to drop below 3.3-3v.

My setup uses 6 530w 1200kv ntm motors running 10x4.5 props total weight is just under 2kg which is well within the 65c constant rating but still this battery is failing fast, yet again.

I wont buy turnigy packs again im going to try another brand and see if I have better luck.

Trying to fly my quadcopter didn't work with the lipo I had (3s3000mah35C), the C rating theoratically should do it but it failed , not enough power. (80A is the max draw for this quad)
I ordered the Nanotech 4s 3300mah 65-130C to make it'll work...
And so it did, excellent power discharge without puffing or even getting warm. I emptied it real good, charged 4600 mah afterwards (charger's mistake I guess)
So will buy again and recommend!!!!
